Finally found perfect size glass beads but hey are strung too close together. This presents a painful pinching of tissue if the beads are tugged at any angle. I've restrung them leaving a good space between the beads to allow play with each bead on the string. Waxed jewelry chord is best. Have fun. Read more

There's a few things I really like about this toy. I'm not sure if the balls are glass or acrylic but they are solid and have some weight and feel high quality. Since they are connected by a string it really gives a unique sensation of going from large to almost nothing as they are pulled out. The one problem with these however, and it's a pretty big problem, is that they are hard to clean. Each bead has a hole through it that can trap things that you definitely want to clean out between play sessions. Given how these beads are used I think you can picture what I'm talking about. If you don't mind putting in the extra work to get these clean they are definitely an interesting and unique toy. Read more

These glass beads are listed as being made of "body safe" glass but they only state it in very small text, and not if it's borosilicate or not. The beads are smooth, nicely sized, but not perfect. The very first one has a bit of a widened hole for the strings knot to sit in. While it might be nice, it was probably done after the beads with holes were already made, so the edges of the hole aren't smooth and rounded like the others actually it's rather jagged. Might just be a defect with my set so your mileage may vary. Read more
