Nice soap, not much staying power

This soap is really luxurious- it’s huge! It has a hefty weight and comes beautifully wrapped in a pretty paper box. It smells amazing- it has a nice floral powdery scent. It lathers well, and doesn’t dry out my skin. However, while the scent is strong enough to perfume the linen closet it was stored in, or the entire bathroom after a shower, I do t think the scent transfers long enough onto my body.
