PROS: XL. I am 5'11" and 210 lbs. fit perfectly. The quality was far more than expected and after comparing prices with name-brand leather stores, I can say without a doubt that I paid half what I would have in a store. The leather is top-notch, not too soft but quality sturdy/thick. Nothing cheap about this. Zippers and pockets are great, no shortcuts there. I didn't purchase this to ride, especially since I just sold my bike but always wanted a riding jacket (for my next bile, lol). If you want a riding jacket, you won't find any better. I didn't expect all the pads but they are certainly a huge plus and easily removable so you get the best of two worlds. This is NOT a light jacket, heavier than expected. CONS: the only disappointment is with its versatility from light to heavy. I was hoping the removable liner would allow use in all types of weather but the lining is very very flimsy, not sure it even makes a difference. Otherwise, this is the best leather jacket I have owned thus far, and I am keeping it. Read more

I got the Commuter Cafe Racer in medium, the smallest size available. I'm 5'11" and 155 lbs, with a slim surfer build. The shoulders, arms and neck fit perfectly, but the torso is boxy and way too roomy. I prefer a tapered, snug fit in the torso so the jacket doesn't balloon when riding, or worse, shift up in a slide. Aside from the cut, the jacket itself is well designed and constructed. The inside is fully lined in mesh and smooth nylon. The bottom inside edge of the jacket has a Cordura strip for extra abrasion resistance. The leather is medium weight, very soft and supple. The flaps behind the cuff zippers are especially buttery soft! There are tons of pockets: 2 in the zip-out quilted vest, 4 inside the jacket (including the gun pocket), 3 outside the jacket. The gun pocket has elastic bands sewn on to hold the gun and a spare mag in place, but the backing is fabric and not that stiff so the gun and mag will sag. A strap of gunbelt leather anchored to the shoulder yoke and stitched inside the gun pocket to support the gun and mag would be ideal. The foam armor comes separately in a bag - note the larger pad is for the elbow, and the smaller pad is for the shoulder. Read more

Fits great, pairs well with leather riding pants from another well-known vendor, and will hopefully help, should I need it in an upset. Heavy-weight leather and design are great; rides well in summer with liner removed and collar slightly open, and will likely be good in (Southern) winters with the liner in. Perforated leather in some parts, so likely not as warm as a non-perforated jacket in bitter cold. Armor is fine but not as good as dedicated armor from the big guys. I'd rather land on a brand-name back pad, but the shoulders and elbows should be fine in a pinch. Read more

Like this jacket very much. 6ft 21n and 220 lbs...XL fit perfect. Quality leather, stylish appearance. Great deal. Re-enforced elbows and back, zip out liming all pluses. Reviews made me chose this over the many other motorcycle jackets on Amazon. Thanks for the good advice. Read more

I am 6ft 240lbs. I typically wear a XL tshirt or shirt. Ordered this in an XL and while it fits. It is extremely snug. Removing the armor only slightly helped. Picture shown is without the armor inserted. Armor was easy enough to remove. Elbow pads are slightly larger than the shoulder pads. Pads are made of a malleable rubber like material. And are easy enough to remove. Elbow pads took a little bit of work to get out. Debating if I want to return it for a size up or keep it and bust my ass to lose a few pounds.. because It's that close to being the right size. Jacket has a conceal carry pocket for your gun, if your so inclined to carry one. But it's a little small for my Browning Hi-Power 9mm. But a Glock or M&P9 would fit great. Liner is removable and the jacket still feels comfy with it. Read more

So, this jacket fits well has armor and is a good fit. I am not tall and not slim the L. I do have room to add layers under it. The jacket is perforated if it says so in the description I missed it. After looking at the pictures you can tell but I had to look closer. My intent was to order a jacket for cooler weather riding in Texas. Air flows pretty well through so I cana use it for the medium cold days. I kept this jacket the feel and protection seem great. If the company reads these reviews they may want to change the listing to say perforated. Read more
