However, it is worth noting that the seller does not recommend using it on the windshield during the summer months, as they reminded me in the after-sales email: In extreme summer heat: Please install this suction cup away from direct sunlight, such as the dashboard or air vents. Perhaps it is this unique design that causes this suction cup to be so strong. It is firmly attached to my car's windshield without shaking or slipping. As well as my daily commute, I took my phone on long trips where it remained firmly in place despite bumpy roads. Unlike other mounts, I've used in the past, whenever there is a bumpy road my phone will shake. Another incredibly helpful feature of this mount is the adjustable drop-down bottom and clip arm width, which allows me to use it with different phone sizes. These folks deserve a real shout out for great follow through and customer support. The cell phone holder was easy to install and the quality is excellent. Took an 8 day trip from New Jersey to Virginia, to North Carolina to Williamsburg, Va to DC, then Baltimore inner Harbor and never a glitch in May. We get to June, the car is outside, the temps start rising and one day, due to so much heat in the car the holder releases. At this point it is good to note that the mounting surface is a 2025 Hyundai Tucson with a pebbly texture. Asked the manufacturer if there was anything they could do. They asked for pics and a description of the problem. Back comes the answer that they have a special base that adheres to a not smooth surface. It arrives, we install, and everything has been perfect for over a month with temps in the 90s, the car closed, all perfect!!!! Read more
