I was looking for a musical toy that wasn’t plastic and noisy in a bad way—and this exceeded my expectations. It’s super well-made with real wood, solid pieces, and beautiful little details. The xylophone is actually in tune (huge plus!), and the cymbals and drums make fun, satisfying sounds without being obnoxious. Assembly was easy and it’s the perfect height for toddlers and preschoolers. My little one plays with it every day, and even adults can’t resist tapping on it. It’s great for introducing rhythm, creativity, and music without being overwhelming. If you’re on the fence—this is 100% worth it. I bought this for my one year old for his birthday. I played it for him for about three minutes, showing him the drumsticks and how to hit the drums and the cymbals. This boy, he started playing it immediately and absolutely loves it still, two months later. It's so cute and I love feeling like he can make a loud noise in an "approved" way and is developing a love of music. Cons: when assembling it, I did over tighten one part and the wood cracked, so be careful. And he loves putting the drumsticks in his mouth, which can't be helped. I don't love the three legs since it flips over easily, but I guess it's good because if it's in his way he can just push it aside since it is so light. It is very fun play with. Read more

I purchased this for my 1 year old great niece for her birthday. When they went to put it together, the legs were missing. So I returned that one and ordered another one. This was the perfect gift for my two year old. It keeps her entertained for at least 10 mins (which is long in toddler attention span) and it is easy for her to carry around as it’s lightweight and not too big!
