Hockey gear is notoriously stinky! Like The Stinkiest. This is our second case of Vapor Fresh from this seller, which keeps both my hockey gear and, more impressively, our teenage boy’s hockey gear smelling acceptable. (Like yes, if I directly sniff his well-worn gloves [like worn for a full year of 5x/week hockey] close up—not a great smell—but from a normal distance, e.g. in the car after the rink—no noticeable smell.) GREATLY reduces the need for cumbersome machine washing! Further, I’m pretty smell averse, particular for any artificial “fresh” scents. This product was a win for us because it smells natural going on (actually smells great, imo—tea tree, lavender, etc.) and doesn’t leave a perfumy after scent like most laundry detergents. Used this on my boxing gloves and gym shoes and it definitely helped cut down on the odor. It is easy to apply, just spray and let it dry.
