I am pleased with this Espresso Coffee Maker. Here's why. The materials are stainless steel—no coatings that can and do degrade with use and high temperatures. The coffee brews quickly with medium to medium high heat on my gas stove top. The flavor, excellent. The maker and components can be washed in the dishwasher. It is a beautiful, makes great coffee, cleans easily and the handle remains cool when not directly exposed to the gas flame. I did experience what some have referred to as the pot leaking or dripping when pouring the coffee. What I realized was the pot wasn't leaking at the seal or gasket. If I pour the coffee slowly into my cup or raise the lid as I pour the coffee there are no drips or spillage. I hope this observation will assist others. Tried it and what I can say is that the taste is as close as the good bold coffee I used to have when I was in Puerto Rico, and I am using the same coffee that I have been using in my other coffee maker. The pot design is beautiful, with a handle that stays cool and an insulated lid that keeps the espresso hot. Largest capacity that I could find, slightly over 500ml. Be careful to follow the directions for brewing and do not brew using the highest heat setting if using an electric stove. Also be sure to always turn down the heat once the coffee begins to flow into the pot. Two drawbacks that have nothing to do with the pot itself. There is no instruction leaflet enclosed. Instead the instruction steps are printed on the exterior of the box. The second drawback is that Amazon shipped it in that box with no protective padding or a second exterior box. So the shipping label covers up the instructions. I was able to successfully peel the label off. It seems there is a plastic film coating the box surface. Carefully examine for dents and damage. Perhaps another retailer would pack it better. Read more

Very attractive pot, and sturdy, and stainless steel - but the coffee it makes doesn’t stack up. It’s more like drip coffee than espresso. I ended up giving mine away and am using another brand which makes stronger, more espresso like coffee. Even though you can put it in the dishwasher, there is a crevice on the inside that makes it hard to clean. Read more
