VEPOSE knee high boots featuring a 2.5" kitten heel. The description states that the heel is 3.5", which is inaccurate and most certainly would not be considered a kitten heel. The boots are made of a synthetic leather suede, have a thin rubber sole and an inner side zipper that runs smoothly from the arch of the foot up to the knee. Easy on easy off. The inner sole is not padded whatsoever. As far as their appearance? GORGEOUS!! Very fashionable and exactly my style/aesthetic. I love the patent leather ornate westernesque details that adorn the toe and the heel as it adds such a beautiful contrast and also an extra special visual impact. The kitten heel is capped in silver and is also patent leather. I normally wear a size 6, however I ordered these in a 6.5 because I will be wearing a thin pair of trouser socks with them. I've seen a few reviews that stated that these boots will keep the person warm, these are not winter boots at all and should not be categorized as such. These are strictly fashion boots. The black suede material is soft, rich, and instantly elevates any outfit, whether I pair them with a dress or tuck them under trousers. Comfortable and Convenient I was honestly worried about the comfort with the pointed toe, but the fit is true to size and surprisingly comfortable, even after a night out. The side zipper is smooth and makes them incredibly easy to slip on and off without a struggle, which is a huge plus for knee-high styles. These boots are cute, and unique. They will surely grab attention when you wear them. The fit is correct, so no need to size up or down. These are comfortable for about 3-4 hours before you are going to start feeling some pain. There are a couple of flaws that prevent me from giving 5 stars. Firstly the sueded material, it is a very low quality faux suede, this fabric will fade quickly with use, and exposure to the elements. Which shortens their life span, as the fabric is already noticeably quite lighter than faux leather of the toe and heel piece. These will look worn and tattered faster, but at $50 it is still a decent deal. Next big flaw is the construction of the heel. There is not a seamless joint between the black and metal portions of the heels, these gives away the quality of the boot to those who know what they are looking for. With this being a kitten heel, the heel will not snap rapidly, however it is a ticking time bomb, that will break with too much use. I am so pleasantly surprised that the 6 fits perfectly in length and width. These boots are made from faux/synthetic leather, but they feel and look like suede. These boots also fit my wider calves nicely. The kitten heel is a good height and very easy to walk on. Very comfy, although I will be adding a cushion for the ball of the foot.
