These Veridian Fahrenheit/Celsius Digital Thermometers are good, basic thermometers. They do the job without any frills. There are 16 thermometers, in four different colors. The thermometers work well. It switches between Fahrenheit or Celsius, whatever is best for you. Easy to use. They do take about 60 seconds for a read-out, but it goes quickly, and the thermometer beeps to let you know it is done. I checked it against my current thermometer and received the same reading, so they seem accurate. A great little tool. This pack is a great idea for large families or anyone that may want to give a thermometer to a friend. It may seem like a small gift, but during COVID, people were scrambling for thermometers because many did not have one in their medicine cabinet. If you have a need for bulk thermometers, this is a good value. 16 thermometers in various colors that are quite accurate and easy to use. The batteries are replaceable and the thermometer will recall the last reading that was taken. These are not fancy high-end thermometers but they will get the job done. I officially have more of these than I will probably ever use in a lifetime. I didn't test every single one but I did randomly check a few and they matched readings taken with my current thermometer which is starting to see some high mileage. They get to a reading quickly and the display is easy to read. Good quality control, no issues with performance. I can't speak to battery life yet. When done, they clean easily and store nicely in their individual cases. The kids love the colors. Overall, a better value than buying them one at a time from a big box store. Read more

Nice retail display of 16 individually packaged thermometers. Each also has a plastic tab/hanger as an alternate way of displaying them. The thermometers come in four different colors. The hard plastic case holds instructions as well as the thermometer. To use, you long press the power button. The display comes on and you can then start the measurement. for me it was consistently off by 1 degree. Not a huge difference, but at least it's consistent. I was surprised at the design of the power button. It's essentially a tab of plastic that's part of the case. It's open around the ends of the tab, so you have to be very careful not to let water get around the switch or it will leak onto the circuit board. This is buried in the instructions but I think should be prominently displayed. I don't think it's unusual to rinse thermometers off with running water, so it's something to be aware of. The instructions also say to clean using a 70% alcohol. This really does take 60 seconds to get to the reading. It's a little long, but it will send the 10 beep alert when it's ready for reading. The Good: * They're accurate, or at least as accurate as the others I have * These have a replaceable battery so it's not e-waste when the battery eventually dies * The display is clear, and while it's not as large as some others out there (specifically the Vics, which is a HUGE display), it's not too small to read * If the temp is over 100 degrees, the alert at the end is different to make sure you know it's a high temp * Can be used for oral, under the armpit or rectal reading. They do suggest disposable covers regardless of the use, but can be cleaned with alcohol * Reasonable price for a bulk buy ($34.32 for 16 or $2.15 each at time of review) The Meh: * They do take a full minute to get the reading. That's not horrible, and as long as it's accurate I'm okay with that. Just know that they aren't the fastest thermometers in the world. The Bad: * Nothing at all The Verdict: Definitely recommend as these are solid thermometers. I got these because I wanted a few more thermometers around the house and to keep one in each of our first aid kits and car kits. This is a set of 16 thermometers, each with its own plastic storage case and directions. The colors are fun and vibrant. I used one to take my temperature three times in succession and the results were all within .2 degrees of each other. I then took my temperature with the thermometer I’ve been using at my home for the past few years and my old thermometer was .6 degrees higher than the one I’m reviewing. The directions say it takes 60 seconds for a reading. My previous thermometer took only about 10 seconds, so the wait for this one seemed long to me. However, the description states it’s a 60 second thermometer so you know going in that it’s not going to give a fast reading. All in all, if you need a bulk set of thermometers this is a solid choice at a reasonable price. Read more
