I purchased this as a non-slip mat for where I feed my elderly Persian cat, as his hips are going. I had to trim it a bit to make it fit in the location, but it was easy. The mat flattened quickly from the rolled position. No chemical smell upon opening the package. The cats get wet food, and one likes to play in the water dish, so being waterproof and easy to clean was a must. The functionality of this rubber mat is so good n I have boughten two so far. The size, color, ease to cut, it lays flat n its water resistance to. Take into consideration it’s only used in a dog kennel. I used to have a dog bed in Kiya's kennel but she wasn't a big fan. She might get too hot when laying on the be overnight. LIKES: Fits great inside her kennel. Provides a softer surface to lay on vs. the hard plastic surface in the kennel. Provide a cooler surface than a normal dog bed. Easy to clean. I bought this "Like New". It was clear it was returned but never cleaned. There was some hair and dirty spots when I received it. I sprayed it down etc. let it dry and it was good to go. Kiya also eats all her treats and meals in her kennel so easy cleaning was important. DISLIKES: TBD. Recent purchase but will update if things change as more time goes by. Read more
