This has some nice weight to it, has a really nice finish to the metal - and is just about perfect for stowing the engineering laptop issued by the employer. The HP Z-Book has a funny shape to it (it's angular, with a foot running along the bottom on the backside). Excellent. Works as advertised, its pretty heavy like a paper weight so it keeps your laptop grounded. Be ware, just dont place it on a tables edge especially if you have a cat because it will end up on the floor. unless you find a way to permently mount it to the table. Has a rubber sticky mount on the bottom so its definitley good enough... as long as you dont have cats. It even comes with an allen key to tighten the bolts for adjusting, i recommment cranking them down a little to ensure the lap top doesnt wiggle them loose if your putting it in and out of it daily like i am. We use it to balance our laptop vertically to save space on our desk. lying your desktop flat takes too much room. We are able to adjust the width of the device stand to make it wide enough to keep the laptop open with just enough room to press the on and off button. This is heavy and well made. The non-slip base works great on both my desks (wood and glass tops). The base adjusts using 2 Allen screws on each side. This enabled me to accommodate a laptop that is thicker at the top and angles to a thin leading edge. I bought a second one I was so pleased. Read more
