I’ve been using this vertical laptop stand for a while now and I’m really happy with it. The walnut wood + black aluminum combo looks modern and high-end, not cheap or plasticky like a lot of other stands. It feels very solid and well-balanced—no wobbling, and the base has good weight to it. My MacBook fits securely, and the adjustable width made it easy to dial in a snug fit. The interior padding protects the laptop well and doesn’t scratch. I also appreciate how much desk space it frees up, while still looking intentional and clean rather than purely utilitarian. This laptop stand looks much better in person than I thought it would and I am super-pleased with it. I think the photo does not do it justice. The build quality is great. It feels solid and stands up steadily with my laptop computer inside it. The wood is smooth and attractively-finished. The black metal base is heavy, super-sturdy, and keeps this thing firmly stable. It also compliments the design really well. It's a rare thing for something functional like this to actually look good. I'm impressed. I also really appreciated that I could adjust the width of the opening. On the bottom of the base, there are screws you can loosen to adjust the width of the holder, and they have even neatly etched measurement lines into the base to eliminate guess-work. Adjusting it to fit my computer was quick, intuitive, and easy. Depending on the thickness of your computer, you can adjust it significantly, from 0.3” to 1.5” thick according to the listing details. That's an impressive amount of versatility. Plus, the inside where your computer rests is soft, so it won't get scratched even with a snug fit. Now that I have seen and used it, I am also feel the price is reasonable. I ordered this thinking it would solve a problem--which it does--but it also, unexpectedly, has upgraded the look of my work space. It pleases me every time I look at it. This is a really high quality laptop stand. It's got some weight to it and is easily adjustable to fit thicker/thinner laptops. Its also got padding inside so the laptop won't get scratched and is secure. This is really nice for those who appreciate clean, minimal setups.
