This was the best buy ive made in portable a/c's, that i bought another.......theyre extremley excellent for decent sized rv travel trailers.....for thier size: theyre bulky, but managable, and they dont pull a lotbof wattage.....but put out good cold air Had 1 hooked to my generator, sat it on top of gen, outdoors, and sat next to it, cooling off as it blew good a/c...... No cold air. You can hear the fan, and then the compressor work if you switch to AC, but my power draw was still so low with the compressor on that I'm suspecting that there was a refrigerant leak and it needed to be returned. Didn't bother getting a replacement since I got it as a "Near Mint" used item that was poorly packed and missing a vent adapter. Its likely that you could blame Amazon fulfillment for the issues, but your mileage may vary. Read more

First unit that arrived did not work. Compressor wouldn’t never kick on to cool the unit. That’s why I’m giving it four stars. Still awaiting the refund on that unit. Second unit that arrived works, compressor kicks on and cools the unit pretty well. I will update my post whenever I use it in my cabin on my boat for the first time. Second use will be for tents when my kids come and stay with me on long camping weekends. I plan on using 1000 W generator to run it when I am in my boat. Read more

I gave it a 5 star because it's the best portable unit ever its cold I set it up in my suv the main thing to know is the exhaust tube gets really hot so I wrapped tin foil around and taped it in place that keeps the tube from relaxing heat in the car I am keeping this unit because it's still a perfect fit for me. I live in Florida so it can get extremely hot but I put on my ac unit and it's so perfect Read more

So this device comes with 2 back vents and 2 tubes. The top tube attached just fine but will NOT come off without cutting it and the bottom tube will NOT attach for me at all without tape. Cooling isn’t all that great either honestly. It’s kinda like a mildly cool fan on the lowest setting. It doesn’t function well and is hard to carry around anyway. Honestly I’ve had to DIY this so much that I should have just bought something else. Don’t recommended, not worth the money. Read more

The Vevor portable ac is not very large and reasonably priced. It can cool a mid sized room fairly quickly and quietly. Very user friendly. Read more

It has a good strong air flow, but it's cool, not cold, not to loud, *BUT* It's like having a heater & ac both going at the same time. And there's nothing really holding the exhaust hose on, so it just falls off from the ac, so much fun to wake up with it hotter inside than outside on a 99 - 105 degrees day. Update.. It flooded the floor twice, even keeping a close watch on it - finally had to just put a bucket under it. If it wouldn't be such a waist I'd gladly take a hammer to it. I WOULD NEVER BUY AGAIN FOR HOME USE. If it's sit outside MAYBE just maybe that'll work a little better but i have doubts. Plus it's not supposed to be in the sun, or rain... Wouldn't that be fun - (trying not to get electrocuted in the rain?)🌧😳😠 2. star's at most Read more

The 48v plug fell out of its place on day one. Now it just flops around outside the case. The 48v brick that comes with it actually weighs like two stone bricks. Once parts are separated, it is nearly impossible to put it back together. Cooling felt less strong compared to same BTU window unit. Produces a lot of water while cooling, and water can easily over-spill from the device if its not level. Would love to see a version that uses its own condensation to cool the condenser. (Update — took it apart and it looks like there is a condensate pump already, but didn't notice it working at all as, again, the condensate would spill out of the cooling unit). Greatest problem is that the cold and hot sections of the unit are attached in a way that does not allow separation. Would be nice if it was possible to separate the units and route the connection between them through a wall or a window. Read more
