Im a 5’2” pear shaped muscular gal with a short torso; about 155-160 lbs. Amazon recommended a large, but the medium was a perfect fit. As others had mentioned, the material is nice and thick. I am 5'4", 115 lbs. for reference and I am not a huge fan of this dress. I can see why some people like it, but I immediately felt frumpy in it for some reason. There is something about the cut of it that I don't find to be super flattering. The waist hits at just the wrong spot on me and I just feel dowdy in it. I am surprised that it does in fact contain cotton per the materials label because it feels like an entirely polyester dress to me. I am still giving it four stars because I think some people will like it--again, not my personal favorite though. Read more

Great quality material and warm too. Write to a funeral and it was perfect. Slightly below knee, wish it was an inch shorter, however it fit my curves well and was figure flattering. Can put a blazer over or waist styled cardigan! Read more
