Eh, this is a real mixed bag of a coat.
I shopped around quite a bit on Amazon and needed something that would come very fast. So this was the best I could find in my desired size and color. The pros - on sale, warm, layerable, very soft not at all scratchy, high end looking material (IMO), beautiful color (beige), and ties stay closed for a cinched look during which coat lays nicely. The cons - still pricey for what it is, hate the snaps I think they look cheap and they don’t allow for a snug enough fit on their own, you can see the buttons around the collar when you wear it with the fur piece off (fur piece is nice and soft though so that’s a plus bc I wouldn’t wear it without), and the worst was the too well sewn closed pockets and the label affixed to the arm which left a mark when I (carefully) removed it. Overall I’m wearing it now on my trip to London enjoying the coats warmth and decent appearance when belted. I’ll keep it and use it with the fur piece as a dress coat in the future. Do I recommend? Sort of, if you’re in a pinch or the price drops to around $120. Read more
