I love Vince Camuto, especially their heels. I typically wear the low booties because I almost always have long pants on. I also have wider calves, so it can be a challenge finding taller boots that fit and aren’t too tight. On the few occasions I do wear shorter skirts, I think the knee high boots look much better. The color and style of these look super chic and I really like the slouched look. I think the relaxed look and fit makes them extra roomier in the calves, because they fit in that respect. The only thing I would change is having them maybe an inch or two shorter as these come right up to the middle of my knees causing them to rub up against them a bit when I walk. They’re fine for short outings, but I think it would start to bother me if I wore them for any length of time. I’ve never cared for the size or shape of my legs, so this may not even be an issue for others. As far as the boots themselves, I believe they run true to size. I sized up from an 8-1/2 to a 9 so I could wear socks since my feet are always cold. Like my other VC heels, the leather is really soft and there aren’t any areas that rub up against my feet. I also like the heel height. They don’t have as much of a platform as I usually like, which creates a little bit more of an arch, but they’re still really comfortable. I love these boots. The leather is soft and buttery. I usually wear a size 8 but always go up half a size for boots. Also, as you walk the slouch does ride up. I plan to use fashion tape inside the boot to attach against my leg. Hopefully that will help. Read more

Vince has done it again with a other great looking boot this winter season. The animal print is what drew me in initially along with the overall construction of the boots. They are really stylish and sexy at the same time. They're pictured as a slouch boot but I didn't really get that. They are definitely loose fitting in the leg and calf but they don't slouch on their own. You have to force them down, which is ok, but they aren't an exaggerated slouch as in the picture and when you do force them down they don't stay that way. With that being said I do still adore them. I ordered a half size up because VC boots usually run small on me but in this case they were a little too loose in the heel. I should have stuck with the size 8. Great boots but I had to take away a point because they didn't quite reach the mark in the "slouchiness" department. Read more
