Vionic Casandra Womens Orthotic Sandal

I first experienced the marvel of Vionic brand flip flops while on vacation in Hawaii. I had a bad bout of plantar fasciitis and could hardly walk without terrible pain. I was desperate for something with good arch support, and googled for the best orthotic support in a sandal/flip flop. We went to the nearest shop and bought my first pair. Within a day, this incredibly supportive flip flop all but eliminated the discomfort and saved our vacation! I will never buy another brand! Now, 6 years later, and several pairs since then, I use them exclusively as my “house slippers”, the minute I come inside and slip them on. They are at my bedside when I first hit the floor with my feet running! Excellent quality that was outlast any other brand. Finally TRUE TO SIZE ! No more extra shoe ! And it might be because I've worn them for so long, but I swear theses are lighter in weight . I've been a VIONIC girl since they came to the U.S. .. It was on the advice of my chiropractor that I had to see 3 times a week for months due to : neck pain , trigger point pain in my shoulders , lumbar pain . hip pain , knee pain , and the feeling that my right heel bone was going to stab out of my body at any moment . I had worked as a nurse my entire career and rhe one thing that I noticed was how quickly I went through shoes . This had happened since childhood , the inside of my right heel would wear down to nothing while the rest of the shoe looked new. My first pair of Vionic Tides was purchased at Island Feet in Maui, Hawaii in 2005. Back home, I wore them almost every day to the pool and in the outdoor shower as they are waterproof. In August 2025 I finally had to glue the sole where it separated from the sandal. In September 2025 I decided after 20 years, I deserved a new pair! These sandals weren’t what I was looking for, and cost a bit more than I wanted to spend. I don’t love the shiny gray material on the top of the straps, but I do love how comfortable they are! They have excellent arch support which is hard to find in a sandal. They are durable, go with anything, and the quality is very good. Read more
