After reading many reviews I thought these would run large so I ordered one pair in 8.5 and one pair in 9 just to compare. My regular shoe size is 9M. I am so glad I did. The 8.5 was entirely too small and I couldn't even fit my whole foot in it. The 9 fit better length and widthwise. It is only slightly tight on top of the foot but I expect that to stretch a bit with wear. The shoes are very comfortable and the arch inserts fit perfectly under my arches. They are light and soft.
