This watch strap is very, very nice. I truly like it. The strap is made of real leather and appears well-made. The hardware is cold to the touch, so I believe it is metal, probably steel or aluminum. It mounts and dismounts perfectly well on my Apple Watch series 9 in 45mm. The strap is wide, being about two millimeters narrower than the mounting hardware and maintains its width throughout its length thus making for a very eye-catching look, IMHO. It is able to accomplish this width because the mounting hardware does not taper as most others do. On the contrary, the mounting hardware is effectively very narrow rectangles that protrude straight to the point where the strap attaches. Again, it is well-made of apparently quality materials, mounts and dismounts easily, and looks good, IMHO. Note, I ordered the black version and the color was consistent throughout without any fading or variability. Overall, I’m very impressed by this strap. True to advertising: Yes. Okay, so, yes, I'm keeping an eye on my steps and heart rate using my smartwatch, but all those nylon stretchy bands were starting to feel dull. The more I wear this band on my watch, the more I like it. I'm not a big jewelry guy, and I don't wear bracelets. But that doesn't mean I don't like the way they look. This band is the best of both worlds. It definitely has a wristband look and feel to it, but in the end it's still just a watch band that my watch blends into nicely. Looks great, love the double-pin closure, and the material is soft enough to be easily bendable which is super important for getting the tongue of the band through the loops to secure it in place.
