I was expecting this cardigan to be a sweater since that is what it is described as. However, it is not actually sweater material. It looks like a sweater from a distance, but it is just a solid polyester fabric. I ordered a large, and it was a bit too baggy and ill fitting for my frame. It looks much better on the model in the description, but most clothes do, haha! The color in the description was very accurate though. It is a nice, deep shade of blue. Overall, I would not purchase this again though. I would prefer an actual woven sweater style. If you like a more uniform, consistent look to your fabric, this might be great for you though. I gave it a five star rating for the following reasons. It’s very stylish so could be worn for dress, or casual with a pair of jeans. It is comfortable once on. The hood is permanently attached, but it is not all that noticeable. On the outside of this sweater, it is soft to the touch with a slight velvety feel. The inside feels more like satin very comfortable against the skin. I really like the pockets on this sweater too. The buttons are an attractive plus nice size. It came in a shrink wrapped bag, causing some wrinkling. I have a short cycle on my dryer which is meant for this. I put a half a sheet of a dampened dryer sheet in with the sweater. This really helped get it back into shape. I ordered a dark blue, which is slightly lighter than navy. It will be perfect with jeans. As I usually do for my outerwear items, I ordered one size larger than normal. It fit me perfectly. I couldn’t wait for this to arrive and I am very pleased overall. Read more

After washing this cardigan, which I ordered in black, the texture was almost like velvet. The fabric is 65% Rayon, 30% Polyester, 5% Spandex. Going through both the washer and dryer it turned out looking great. I like it oversized on me, so I can wear it over sweaters without any cling. It’s a basic jacket cardigan that I will primarily wear around the house as an additional layer to keep warm. It’s also light enough to not be too warm. The front pockets are basic, and there’s not really anything too special about this jacket other than its versatility. The way it's pictured in their ad, over jeans and a white top, is the way I see it worn best. It’s one step up from a hoodie sweatshirt, but it still belongs in that casual category. It’s rather shapeless, so wearing it with dressier clothes wouldn’t enhance the outfit… it might do the opposite. Having said that, as a simple casual jacket, it’s not bad. The feel of the fabric is nice, and so are the buttons. The sleeves are long and need to be cuffed. I prefer the fit of this jacket-cardigan to be loose on me, but a slender person might like a slimmer fit. If I decide to wear it out, it’s so basic that I’ll add a scarf or brooch for some visual interest. Being that it’s basically so utilitarian and completely lacking in style, I’ll rate this 4 stars. Like I said, I plan to wear this mainly around the house, or very casually outside the house for errands. This hooded cardigan from Viracy is warm, soft and cozy. I selected the dark blue in size large. The size does seem to run a bit small, so size up if you want to wear this as a top layer. The fabric is very soft, almost like velour, but without that stiff backing. It is comfortable to wear and hangs nicely. The buttons are chunky and stylish. Quality is very good. Stitching and color are consistent across the garment. The blue color is a bit darker and a bit more steel-blue than the listing indicates. Still, it looks great. The fabric is a medium weight, not too thick or thin. And for the current price of about $24, it is a good deal. Read more

This is not a traditional sweater. It is more of a dressy sweat shirt. The inside feels and looks like spandex even though it is not. It looks good, feels good, and is very warm. I'm 5'3" wearing the medium it fits well since I like the longer length and I am really going to enjoy wearing this. It is a bit more stylish than my regular hooded sweatshirt. Read more
