Purchased these based on my veterinarian’s recommendation in combination with another enzyme chew for my dog’s horrid bad breath. I’m pretty sure my dog would clean the house for these dental chews. My dog is a gobbler, so I hold the chew to make it actually be a dental chews otherwise, it would be a 2 bite treat and not a “chew.” No smell, easily chewable and doesn’t upset his stomach. Virbac works well to help reduce or prevent tartar buildup on my dogs' teeth. I breed and train Border Collies and have several in my kennel. It's hard to keep up with brushing everyone's teeth and this product helps. My Vet uses Virbac for her dogs and recommended this to me. The size and thickness is perfect for our dogs, it has no smell to me and the dogs love it. It can get pricey with as many as we buy, but the price point on Amazon is competitive with other sellers, so it works for me. Read more

these came highly recommended by our vet for our aging mix. we’ve used the regular formulation for years but have started using the flex as she is 9 and dealing with some joint issues. it’s about the only thing that works to get her in the house at night (she absolutely loves them). they’re pricey but they seem to be working their magic… o bad breath, clean teeth and seemingly more vigor. My dogs love them and devour them! They are not long lasting. They might help with keeping teeth clean, but not as well as cleaning wipes or the dental strips. I honestly think the strips are more effective, but one of my dogs does not slowly savor and enjoy the chew strip, and instead forces herself to swallow it as soon as it is soft enough and goes down in one piece. It's a very disgusting process, so I use these, lol. I also don't think the joint support is as effective as cosequin. I give my dogs this daily and Dosequin because they are now senior dogs. I’ve been giving one of these a day to my dog for years. They really do make a difference with his tarter buildup and breath. My dog is over 15 years old so I bought these instead of buying the rawhide because they are a little softer and easier for him to chew.
