I am constantly getting compliments on this bag. It has worn well, and now has a beautiful patina on the back part that rubs agains my side. I used it to go camping, but I couldn't fit inside of it, so I was cold all night, so I tried to use it to bring water back from the creek to the campsite. It all leaked out. I'm a little disappointed. But it holds my laptop really well, so I can't complain really. Pros: Ages very well Holds my 15 Macbook Pro Retina very well Cons: Bad at holding water Cannot be used to sleep in Read more

Short story, I Iike this bag. It's very attractive and seems sturdy so far. If you want an extremely polished leather bag though this is probably not the bag for you. The leather will look a bit weathered and scuffed with use but that's the "look" you should expect with this bag. In some respects that's cool because I suspect no two bags will look identical. Probably a personal taste, but I like it! The bag at once looks causal but is high class if that is possible. I am using this with the Acer 15.6" Chromebook so I needed something wide. This works well if you put the laptop in the middle compartment. I still have room for my charger and some other items. Three zippered poaches for documents, etc, two on outside, one inside. Two small open pouches on inside that can hold an iPhone 4 and a Samung S5 (yes I have both and they fit perfectly in the pouches). Business card holder and two-slots for pens. Inside area has a separate compartment presumably for your laptop if it will fit, however my Acer's size required the middle area. The inside and pouches are lined with a tough nylon (?) cloth that has the Visconi logo and pattern (brown). Very nice and practical as I imagine you might get the occasional accidental spillage of something in there if you are dumb enough to put your yogurt or food in there. I would have liked an end pouch to shove my reading glasses in or my cell phone, but overall the bag has a lot of room. The strap is well made and not uncomfortable at all. The bag is equipped with some brass zipper accessories adding to the classy appearance. Stitching is attractive and appears sturdy. The price is about right for a high quality leather bag, no complaints there. The magnetic buttons are less than ideal (for me) but they seem well made and work - I just don't like the buttons, but putting velcro or something else might have cheapened the look overall and wanted the flap design without buckles which would be a real hassle. I researched bags for hours (literally) because of the unique requirements of my Chromebook and ended up choosing this one. Glad I did. If I want to rock a different look, I might pick up a black one - http://www.amazon.com/Visconti-Harvard-Crossbody-Messenger-Distressed/dp/B008OJEP9G/ref=pd_sim_a_5?ie=UTF8&refRID=0PS82DCQGRFSHS85YFYM Oveall Read more

Its not full grain leather. In fact, it isn't actually any grain of leather, its made of the leather bits that are left over from other manufacturing. Then they throw it all in a vat with adhesive and roll this leather "dough" into sheets. Do not buy Visconti unless it is heavily (beyond 50%) discounted. I do agree the styling is spot on, but if you want something that will last and look better with age, Visconti is the last place I'd look. Also, you literally cannot wear it with anything lighter than dark khaki otherwise it will stain your clothes. Totally serious on this. I've tried a bunch of different methods to "seal" the color in until I realized its not the dye, its the leather particulate being deposited on my clothes. Its also pretty big. Read more

This product is great! It looks beautiful. It can be professional looking and casual. My husbands 15 inch laptop fits in the roomier pocket of the bag. He uses it for school and church mostly where he needs to carry notebooks and some books around, including his computer of course. He wanted to replace his raggedy backpack with something nicer looking and this was perfect for him. Read more

I love this bag! It has so many pockets. I bought the distressed brown leather, very nice heavy durable and nice looking bag. Everyone that sees it wants to know who makes it and where did I get it from. For the money, it was certainly worth it, thank you so much for my bag!!!! Read more

I was concerned that it would wear off on my clothes. It doesn't. I put some leather sealent on it, and i have been using it for about 6-months, it has held up well, and I think it looks sharp. I'd buy it again. Read more
