I received the Vitafit Amazing Smart Bathroom Scale, and I think it’s pretty good for what I need. It’s straightforward and easy to use, measuring weight and BMI accurately. The design is nice too—it's got a large tempered glass platform that feels solid. But just a heads up, it’s pretty basic. The scale only tracks weight and BMI, and there’s an app to help you keep track of your progress, but it doesn't measure anything else like body fat or muscle mass. I picked the "normal" account option when I set it up. The app does ask for permissions but no more than any other app I download. I do like the simplicity of the app (tracking your weight journey via graph) and you can add additional users as well. That said, if all you want is a reliable scale to track your weight and BMI, this one does the job well. Plus, it can handle up to 660lbs, which is a nice feature. If you're not worried about the privacy stuff and just want a simple scale, this is it! Read more

I like the sleek look of this scale. It looks fragile because of the glass top but it has good weight to it, feels sturdy and strong. It has a large weight limit, 660lb and large surface. The numbers are easy to read because they are bright. I didn't have any problems setting up the app and it's okay but can't say I love it. As far as accuracy, I think it does well especially compared to others I owned. It's a good quality, solid scale even if you don't use it with the app. Read more

I’ve been using the Vitafit smart bathroom scale for a bit now, and I’m really impressed with how accurate and consistent it is. The display is bright and easy to read, even in low light, and the large platform feels sturdy underfoot. It picks up small weight changes quickly and seems well-built. The glass surface looks clean and modern, and the non-slip design gives it a secure feel. It’s a solid scale for daily use and feels reliable every time I step on it. Read more

This scale is VERY solidly built. It really weighs a lot and feels like a slab of iron almost. It has a glass type of surface and can be a little slippery if you just got out of the bathroom and have water on your feet. The scale is relatively easy to use. You have one button on the bottom that can change the metric measurement into the imperial one. This take 3x AAA batteries and it's easy to change. The hardest part is taking the cover off as if you have no nails, it'll rip the underside of your skin and make it painful. I refuse to use the app. I don't install any types of apps for a smart anything on my personal phone. I refuse to install it for this one as well. Read more
Needs 3-AAA batteries. Not USB rechargeable, if that is a consideration for you. Otherwise, this is a fantastic scale. Goes up to 660 pounds! Specifically designed to accommodate higher weight and has a larger standing platform. This is a very accurate scale---downloads to your phone quickly and effortlessly. Everything syncs up in no time at all and incredibly easy to track your weight, BMI, etc. What I really like is that this will also sync to other apps like Fitbit, etc. which really streamlines the entire weight loss journey. Made of tempered glass, black in color and the entire unit is attractive and will not be an eyesore. If you need customer service----it is located in the USA!!! Read more

I really like the size of this scale. While I wear a size 8 shoe, my husband has HUGE feet (size 16) with most scales being too small for him. The numbers are nice and bright, the scale isn’t slippery when you step on it and it stays put on the floor. It’s nice the scale can handle larger people, although I hope we never need to test to maximum capacity. I did download the App and the first time, everything connected, yet since then (month plus) I can’t get it to connect any longer. So, currently I’m only using it to track weight and not any other metrics. When I have an opportunity to mess with it more, I’ll update my review noting if I ever got the scale to reconnect to the app. Read more
This scale seems pretty straight forward and easy to use. Its measurements aligns decently with my other smart scales. This is the least fancy scale I have, since it only tracks weight and BMI, which, in my opinion, doesn't really need an app that wants so many permissions, including my advertisement ID? Despite what it says on the Amazon page, Google Play says it does share my information to others. I don't know to what extent or what it means, but the fact that it wants my advertisement ID is a bit disturbing, since my fancier scales do not request for such. At account creation, it asks whether I want a normal account or athletic, etc. I selected normal. I don't know what difference I'd have had if I had selected athletic, because it really just tracks BMI and weight, nothing more. No body fact, muscle mass, water, or anything. That's fine - it doesn't claim to do any of that on the product page. I just still wonder why it wants to much permission. Needless to say, after trying it for a few days, I uninstalled the app. It's just not worth selling my privacy for just tracking weight and BMI. Overall, if you're looking for a scale that seems nicely built and accurate, give this a try if you don't care about sharing your advertisement ID. Read more
