Everyone in my family loves to make smoothies. Given the lockdown we are making smoothies sometimes all day from early morning to late at night. The ear splitting noise and low power of our old blender was causing all kinds of headaches, real and metaphorical. We finally decided to splurge for a a new blender. After much research and debate we settled on the Vita-Mix Quiet One. It’s everything we had hoped - more than powerful for even the most challenging smoothies that include frozen fruit (great when you can’t easily get fresh produce), peanut butter and ice. They blend perfectly and quickly. It’s indeed quiet. The cone of silence that you lower over the pitcher before blending actually works. Not perfectly of course. Don’t try to put your baby to sleep and then make a strawberry banana daiquiri. But compared to our old blender - which was pretty high quality - it’s significantly quieter. No one complains anymore. And because blending time is so much shorter it’s that much more tolerable. Finally the blender’s plastic pitcher is light and easy to pour. The handle is balanced and it’s easy to hold. The lid slides on and off easily and is easily placed into and removed from the blender base. There are preprogrammed blender buttons for different times and speeds. They are easy to use and understand. Finally, the blender is easy to clean. You can put it in the dishwasher but we use it so often we usually just clean it by hand. Read more

I am in love with this blender! The quiet operation was a welcome surprise—no more deafening roar. It's so easy to operate that anyone in the family can use it. And the texture? Just perfect. I have never written a review before, until now. This product did not work, it is very loud (despite it supposedly being the quietest blender out there), hard to operate and attach, hard to clean, and the lid does not stay open and slammed on my hands leaving bruises. That was the last straw for me. I requested to return this item within the return window and they are charging me to return it. On the purchase list it stated free returns, this is not a free return. Amazon contacted the company and their response was they fulfilled their order by delivering the item. I have to pay the return fee and they may charge a restocking fee. This is absolutely absurd, I have never heard of this before and cannot believe that a company that charges $1k+ for a blender that does not work and is treating their customers like this. They did not say anything about how the item is defective or apologize for any of this. Read more

When I got this quietone, there’s some noise whenever I open and close covers. My husband applied some olive oil slightly on it, and it was solved. I previously owned Prep3 and e310 in Vietnam and Korea. Due to different voltage, I gave my younger sister those Vitamixs, and ordered this new Quietone here. In conclusion I really satisfied with this. It’s literally “quiet”. I’m making various smoothies everyday. I hope it can be with me in my whole lifetime. Read more

I love Vitamix blenders. I’ve owned mine for about 25 years without a problem. I bought this one for my daughter. When we tested it by blending water and ice, it leaked out of the spout part of the lid. I know it probably was a defective lid that could easily have been replaced, but I didn’t want to go through the hassle of calling VitaMix customer service. So, I sent it back. Read more

If you are searching for quiet, this blender is not it. If you are searching for something quieter than your decade old vitamix that you use everyday, this is it. We blend every night and our 10 year old vitamix always causes a stirry as it is as loud as a lawnmower in our kitchen at 830 at night. This blender made life much more bearable as the noise is still loud but is much more subdued than our other model which we bought at Costco. You can still hear the loud motor but the peak cracking of ice chips and frozen fruit is subdued. I think this blender actually works better than my older model due to the design of the blender cup. I’ve had fewer issues with frozen fruit getting stuck on the upper extremities and one programmed blend setting seems to be enough to get a thorough blend. The blades are sharp. Which is different from the other vitamix model I have. It at least feels sharp enough such that I don’t stick my hand inside to clean the blades. No regrets with this purchase.
