This is a professional grade immerson blender and it works like magic! It has a smoothness of use I wasn't expecting but love. The design is wonderful and allows for ease of cleaning. While it's versatile and can be used with liquids and some solids and I'm telling you it means business! It's so efficient and there's been no instance of splashes or leakage while in use. Superb blender with amazing operating simplicity. Was in the market for a non-scratch blender for all the soups I love to cook and discovered this Vitamix jewel. Two speeds and an on/off button, that’s it. Simplicity at its best. No problem with the firmness of the blending attachment. Connects very well. Low setting is good enough for just about everything, but the high setting will definitely remind you that this is indeed a Vitamix. It pulverizes everything it touches. Easy to clean, easy to use, and very powerful, this is indeed a good piece of kitchen gear. Read more

Love this hand blender. Easy to use, clean and does a fantastic job within seconds without spraying outside of your pot or bowl. Saves me from having to dump hot sauce or purees into my blender, cleaning, etc. I could not be happier, especially since it macerates to a wonderful texture without becoming gummy. I had wanted an immersion blender for a.long time. I saved up and bought this vitamix. I love it! Worth the cost. I haven't found anything it won't blend including slurried paper for paper mache projects. I have had it for several months and it is the perfect immersion blender. Read more
