This simply is a quality monitor stand. Good design, heavy duty materials, with excellent fit and finish. It's more of an investment than the $20 - $30 range stands, but it's in a whole different class. IMO, well worth the additional cost. I'm using this with a 27" video conferencing monitor. Assembly was very straight forward. They recommend having assistance, but I was able to do it solo with no problem. All of the tools (2 allen wrenches) except a #2 phillips screwdriver were included. By adjusting the angle of the mounting bracket, you can slide the monitor mount into the top screw slots, tighten them, and then add the bottom screws. After reading the many comments about the weight adjustment screw's being way off, I cranked it way down (clockwise) MANY turns before trying to mount the monitor (until it felt about right). No further adjustment was necessary. This adjustment is pretty stiff, so be prepared to put a little effort into it. Note than the screen can be rotated (landscape to portrait), but you need to remove the screw locking it in place. Check the specs to be sure the height range will meet your needs, and if so, I believe you'll be very pleased with this. Read more

This is really sturdy. I'm using it to mount a 27" touchscreen monitor in a lo,, flat, tilted position for sports web-streaming. Works like a champ. I did have to crank down the pneumatic piston tension almost to the stop to prevent the piston from forcing the relatively lightweight monitor up. That piston is strong! Once you adjust the piston and neck tension, you can position the monitor any way you want it and it will stay. It has both 75 and 100 mm mounting holes. Read more

Claim is that the screen will rotate. Problem is that it only rotates a few degrees and not far enough for portrait mode — needs to rotate 90° for that. Since my Apple Studio Monitor supports both landscape and portrait modes, I need to return this — which is too bad. Otherwise, this is a great, sturdy, desktop-stand (no clamp needed) VESA mount with plenty of heft. You are highly unlikely to knock your monitor over accidentally. It's easy to assemble and has a wide range of adjustment for the weight of the monitor. If it could support both portrait and landscape mode, I would give it 6 out of 5 stars but you have to chose one mode or the other in advance, darn it. Read more

So my usage for this isn’t typical. I am a 3d asset developer and I bought it for a Wacom cintiq 16 that I use for my laptop. I have a cintiq 22 that sits in my office on a desk. But I needed something portable for my smaller one (I use the laptop and 16 in the living room or bedroom) I do also have the Wacom stand for it, but it’s limited in what it can do. So ofc I went straight to vivo. I have another of their mounts (one tricksy pole that holds a third monitor in my office) I was afraid when I got it that the arm wouldn’t stay down, but once I put the cintiq 16 on it, the weight holds it exactly where u put it with no screwing necessary. This stand has exceeded expectations. It’s very articulate, and raises it high enuff so I don’t have to crane over my cintiq 16 in the living room (I have a herniation and it saves my back a lot of pain) you can tilt it to perfection and turn it as you need. I did have to loosen the bolts to use it for the 16 (as it’s only 4 lbs) but it works perfectly when u get it in the right spot. I also bought a vivo quick release adapter (for this and the Wacom stand, so I could interchange them on the fly without having to unscrew and screw, which would wear down the screws and holes over time) The only drawback… the cintiq stand fits in my laptop bag, while this won’t. It’s still very lightweight portable, tho. Thats a small price to pay for something this awesome! Read more

I originally purchased an Apple Studio Display with the Apple stand built in. I found that the display was too high and replaced it with the VESA Mount version. I then installed it on this mount, but was unable to lower it in any meaningful way. I tried tightening the position bolts but it wouldn’t stay down. I would not recommend this product. Read more
