I've never been disappointed by VIVO monitor mounts. On one computer, I have a three monitor VIVO table top stand. On another computer, I have a dual-monitor desk clamp stand. And on this computer, I have this wall mount arm. All of them have performed beautifully. One benefit is that many of the parts interchange between their various models should you need to switch things around. It's very quick and easy to mount on drywall -- just find the stud, drill two pilot holes, and bolt it on. It took me all of five minutes. I do recommend using a level to make sure you get the mount straight. Not only does that help with aesthetics but it reduces the load on the pneumatics and helps keep the monitor from wanting to move after being adjusted. The only thing I think could be better on this mount is if the upper arm was an inch or so longer to give the arm a couple additional inches in vertical adjustment, but it's very adjustable as it is. I also didn't even have to make any adjustments to the tension. It was nearly perfect for my monitor out-of-the-box. It's easy to adjust the monitor position and it stays put. I did get a nice chuckle from the other reviews when originally buying this. One schmuck had tried to bolt it directly to drywall without anchoring it to the stud and then tried to blame the monitor arm for the giant hole he created in his rental property. He was even brave enough to post a picture and show the world what happens when you don't read and follow instructions. Unfortunately, someone must have told him, as it seems he has removed his review -- too bad, as you would have gotten a good laugh. And another reviewer was talking about the horrible drywall anchors it comes with. Apparently he too didn't follow instructions as they aren't drywall anchors. They are brick/concrete anchors. For drywall, you're supposed to find a stud and use the supplied screws to bolt it to the stud behind the drywall. All in all, this is a very nice monitor arm. It looks nice and is more adjustable than most wall mounts. Read more
More of a 4.5 stars since it is incredible value for the money and my only complaints are relatively minor. Ultimately I would buy it again adn recommend it to anyone looking for a well priced arm mount. I ordered this to mount a small 24 inch Vizio TV and soundbar in our kitchen under the cabinets. Installation was easy with 2 lag screws straight into a stud (pre-drill the holes though). The tv was very light on its own (6.9 lb or 3.1 kg) as was the soundbar (2.2 lb or 1 kg). So in total between the TV, soundbar, cables, and soundbar mount there is maybe 11 lbs (5 kg) on this arm. It has no problem supporting this weight and I had to actually reduce the tension to get it dialed in just right. As you move the arm around, extending and rotating it, it keep the TV vertically oriented. That is something worth knowing, this arm, though you can adjust the up down viewing angle it is designed to hold the TV or monitor in only the vertical position. So if you have something like a touch screen monitor that you want to be able to pull out and lay flat-ish to work on, this is NOT the arm for you. As you can see in the pictures, it will push flat against the wall, however, there is of course a gap left that is the thickness of the arm and mount which means the back of the tv is held between 3.75 and 4.5 inches (9.5 to 11.5 cm) away from the wall depending on how carefully you push it back into place. There are cable management channels that will help with the appearance when viewed from the side, or extended, but inevitably the cords will still be longer than the channel and need to be bundled behind the TV/monitor or at the base since the channel is a little to small to coil them inside the channel. If you have only one power cord and maybe one other cable that isn't very stiff you may be able to bundle them into the cable channels. The middle joint is pretty stiff to rotate so I usually make sure to grab the arm itself rather then stress the TV housing to extend it. Depending on how you look at this it may be good or it may be bad. It definitely holds its position once adjusted but redepositing ti is a bit of extra effort. Maybe with more use it will loosen up a bit and wear-in? I have only been using this for about a month and don't reposition the TV very often. All in all this is a great deal for the price and I would absolutely buy it again, but I can see how it could be improved. For example better cable management, looser swivel joints, lower profile. Though the stiffer joints may be beneficial in some use cases. Read more

Easy to assemble and works perfectly for my monitor in the corner. I can adjust it to fit flush on either wall to suit where I am working and whether I am also using my laptop or sidecar-ing my tablet. Otherwise it can be tucked back out of the way. Read more
I bought 2 of these VIVO Single Monitor Counterbalance Wall Mount for 32 inch Screens for my 27" Acer monitors and they are still working great 5 years later. They are well built and adjustable so you can move them around easily. They are easy to install and you can get them for a pretty low price. I would recommend this to someone if they were looking for some good quality wall mounts for their monitor or small tv. I give this item 5 stars because of these reasons. Read more
