infinite flexibility to within their max specs. Good solid design. Saved hundreds on several TV upgrades ... both newer TV's were 300mm x 200 mm VESA, old mounts were 200 x 200. 2 of these cost $30 vs $200 for 2 new ones. Also saved a lot of headaches. Read more
We purchased a new 60" TV that replaced a 50", and the mount bracket did not fit the back of the latest 60" TV. After some googling, I came up with this product as the solution. According to the specs, this adapter can support 66 lbs, which is more than enough for our new 60" TV at 38 lbs. My only criticism is that the spacers that came with the adapter were too big, but I used the ones from our old TV; with this adapter, we were not able to mount our soundbar due to the screws being too short and the directions could be better, but I figured it out. So far, so good, and the TV is still up. It's still more accessible and cheaper than installing a whole new mount in the studs leaving more holes etc. Read more
Nice adapter we used to mount a larger TV in the bedroom without having to change the whole mount. It has a variety of hole patterns to fit most TV's, and it wasn't hard to install (Just follow the instructions). Read more
How hard could it be, right? It's 4 arms and a small assortment of screws, nuts, and spacers. In the end, this adapter kit did do exactly what we needed and the price was reasonable. However, the devil, as they say, is in the details. The arms attach first to your existing mount and then from there you attach the TV using the provided longer screws while placing 4 plastic spacers about 1/2" thick in between the TV and the arms. This is where things get tricky. You need at least 2 people to do this. Getting all 4 arms to line up with the holes all in the same position at the same time is a VERY tricky task. Slotting in the spacers while lining up the screws to go into the TV is also tricky business. For TVs with 300mm x 300mm VESA mount spacing being adapted to a mount with 200m x 200mm spacing, the screws need to go into the inner ends of the narrower slots (each arm has 2 slots). Because all 4 arms can be pivoted, it's somewhat like trying to solve 4 simultaneous equations. The first 2 are not too bad, the third is a bit challenging, but by the time you get to the 4th you wonder how this will ever be possible. Eventually we got them all lined up. Then it took a little juggling to get the TV level by adjusting the 4 arms together. It's not terribly complicated but the degree of adjustability actually becomes problematic. We made a paper template to copy the 300mm x 300mm pattern from the back of the TV to get the arms in the ballpark to start with. The kit does not provide any washers. We really felt we needed to add these to the screws that went through the arms and spacers and into the TV. The heads of the screws can almost fit through the slots which would not be good. Luckily we had some washers already that worked but they should include some with the kit in my view. Technically speaking, you can probably get the screws to grab the arms without washers but I personally would not be comfortable with that. The reason I gave the "range of motion" category 3 stars is not because it has too little but because it has too much. Our TV was only a 48" model and while not light, I'm glad we weren't juggling something even larger like 56", 65", etc. I don't mean for this to be a negative review but you should be aware of what installing it will entail before you buy it. Take your belt off while you wrestle the TV so the buckle doesn't scratch up your screen. Read more
Just what I needed to line up the holes on the TV as my wall mount did not match up to my T. Enabled me to mount TV to the wall. Read more
If you are like me and accidentally bought a TV with holes that are too far apart for the mount that you already painstakingly installed, you should get these brackets! Problem solved immediately, the TV has been up for six months now with no issues. Read more
