I was surprised at how sturdy the stand is and especially at this price point. The installation was mostly straightforward. I did panic a little when it was time to put up my second stand as i thought i had received the wrong product because the holes didn't match up. As it turns out the center pole was just inserted upside down before being shipped. The tools that come with the stand for assembly work ok but if you need to put together several as i did, you should just use a ratchet set. It is hard to distinguish between the plastic washers and the metal ones at first glance so pay attention to that. It's way taller than I was expecting which is great but Its never a good idea to put anything at its highest setting in my opinion so i dropped it down for good measure. For those saying that it isn't sturdy could possibly have a defective product or possibly don't know to set the legs. I always spread the legs out pretty far and then press down on the top pole to find its natural resting point. Either way you should sand bag any stand that is going to have significant weight on it. The stands look good although i always use skirts on them so they won't be seen. Read more
Works great. Very sturdy. Easy to adjust height but it was a little difficult to adjust the tilt. The screw is tucked behind the mount bracket. It would've been easier before I put the mount on the TV but I want sure of the angle until I had the it on the TV. Held a 47" tv great. I like how the mount screws and locks in to guarantee the tv being secure. This could easily be used indoors for a room without taking up much room. I was surprised how well the stand stayed sturdy even with the legs in instead of spread out. I wouldn't trust it if I had kids or animals running around but still worked. Read more

Pretty good. Got a pair of these for info booths at conferences and field days. Holds a 65" TCL LCD TV just fine. Out of an abundance of caution I use some water bags (like sand bags but you fill with water) as weight on the lower legs. It's not all that unstable with a TV mounted, but it wouldn't take much of an accidental shove to knock one over. Read more
very simple, yet sturdy design. I purchased the tripod design because I needed it to be easily taken down and moved from different location to another. This design easily does that, unlike the "carts". Indoors, this thing is plenty strong enough ( i have a 55 in LG on it) and it's plenty stable...especially if you widen the legs out to the max and keep the TV at a lower height setting. I like that fact that I can easily remove the TV and fold up this stand to keep it out of the way when not in use. I use this stand (with TV) in an open air environment (Dealership service drives) where it is under a roof, but open to wind blowing through the drive. With some decent wind, the TV will wiggle and it can look a bit shaky....so not sure I'd recommend this for someone's outdoor patio, etc...unless they were willing to weight down the base with something (like a sandbag, etc). Realistically, any large screen TV being used exposed to wind...should be permanently mounted...not on a mobil (of any kind) stand. If you're needing or preferring a stand that is more mobil due to relocating the TV often or just putting the TV away occasionally, then this is a great option. It's fine to leave permanently in one location too, of course, but if you're doing that...you could probably find one a bit more sturdy and with more features (like a tray to hold DVR, cable box, etc). I bought this to put my old Sony 42" flat screen (its the old HEAVY first gen TV) in my workout room to connect up my bike to ride Zwift and to use to watch TV while working out or doing my Stairmaster. This is a great piece of equipment. Its well built from strong metals and fits together easily and even has a locking pin to prevent the TV from slipping out of alignment. It allows the TV to rotate to any position and has worked perfectly all year long. Plus its an attractive design. II bought a 3rd party shelf that bolts on to mount my Apple TV and to keep the remote and my iPad for Zwift. You cant go wrong with this piece! A+++++ Read more
TLDR: Stand itself works very well and is quite sturdy. Tilt works and does the max of -8 degrees but isn’t anything crazy. Overall a solid purchase! Pros: Easy to set up, instructions are clear. I have a 40” Samsung and it holds it very well. With the wide base this thing would do well with active kids and pets (but don’t let them climb because it is a tripod). Height is goes up to 6’, but the last bracket will probably put the TV into the 5’8” range. Cons: The base is a lot bigger than I expected with a full range of 30” between each foot on the tripod, takes up a considerable amount of room. It takes some fiddling with the bolts and spacers to insure that it will fit correctly on the bracket, but is easy to install once you figure it out. There is a spacer guideline in the manual to refer to if needed. Read more
