I love these things! I have two of them, and may order a third for the garage. I find I use my iPad so much more now. Instead of having to put it away somewhere and get it out each time, it is right there when I need it. These arms are really sturdy and solid. They don’t wobble or vibrate when you are using the touchscreen. When you first assemble the arm it may seem like the tablet holder is loose. When you put the final cap nut on it will tighten down and not flop around at all. The arm is really easy to put together. The box includes the two hex wrenches you will need. You might need a small adjustable wrench or socket wrench for the cap nut. The height needs to be adjusted with a hex wrench, so you will want to find the right height and leave it there for the most part. It is easy enough to adjust if you need to. Note that the cable holder on the vertical column includes two little loops to hold the hex wrenches so they are always handy. A well thought-out out detail. For the rest of the positioning you just push the iPad around where you need it – bending the arm or changing the angles of the iPad. All of that is really easy. When I assembled the first one I thought some screws were missing. It turns out I had missed finding the second little bag of parts in the box. Be sure you dig around and find everything before you get started. If you are thinking “I don’t really use my tablet that much. Maybe I don’t need this,” please reconsider. When it is readily available and easy to reach and view without taking up any of your desk space I think you will find you use it a lot more, helping you get more value out of owning it in the first place. Very sturdy construction and versatility are the main points here. The spring-loaded monitor/tablet grabber attaches to the armature with a standard VESA mount so you can use either with other VESA hardware you have. This works great for an iPad (10th gen) and a 15.6" portable monitor. This mounts very easily to a thick desk with the extra deep clamp. This would not be ideal for a screen you reposition up and down a lot, as it's rather difficult to do with the bolt tightened down. The arm does not close completely flat, so take that into space considerations. Setup is very simple, only a #2 Phillips Head screwdriver is required to attach the base to the riser pipe. The disc for screw-mounting can be used with the clamp for added cushion under the desk and to make for a very tight fit. Read more

I purchased this to hold a Microsoft Surface 10 which I use for work. It's been pretty solid and offers plenty of adjustments to get the positioning of it right where I want it. I like it. There are more plastic parts than I expected, but they hold up well. I rarely remove the Surface from the mount; if I did that more often, I might be more concerned about some of the plastic bits breaking. For my use case, it's okay. My only big issues is that some parts had scratches and damage, clearly from the factory. Quality control could be better in that regard. It's not visible enough that it was worth the effort to return it for another. I've used this for work for over a month and it's done what it's supposed to. Read more

As the picture shows, my desk space is tiny and often cluttered but as a developer I cannot work with just one monitor. I purchased a portable monitor to take with me since I’m always on the go but desperately needed a way to get it up off my desk when I’m home. This stand is perfect! My desk is 5” thick and I adjusted the c-clamp accordingly with no issues and the tablet clip is the perfect size for my 15.6 inch monitor. This tablet arm has been a great addition to my workspace. It clamps securely to my desk and holds my 13" portable Acer monitor with no issues. The best part is how easy it is to pop the monitor off when I'm on the go and just as easily attach it back when I'm back at my desk. Excellent quality. I did need to exert extreme force to loosen the bolts on the arm so that I could move freely. But after I did so adjustments were easy to make, and did not affect the stability of the monitor. Read more
