Beware
Set had poor pic quality out of the box with Vivid being the only acceptable setting. Backlighting began to fail and at 18 months the pic is noticeably dim with 5 or 6 dark spots. Warranty expired at 1 year and Vizio says that set is not worth repairing and they can do nothing for me. This is my 8th Vizio and first failure, however it is a $1400 hit. Seems they should last longer than 18 months. Update: after pleading my case via text on a daily basis, I was contacted by Vizio. They issued a discount code that allows me to save a good percentage on a new set. This was pretty nice of them. Update: the discount code only works onVizio.com. Guess what? They have no TVs available on their site. Read more
