This is the first time ive really gone out of my way to do a review other than a few words. But I bought this with some unanswered questions and I'm really impressed with it so I wanted to try and answer a few questions. I wanted a lightweight nylon purse with an inside pocket that would fit a large cell phone. I ordered the Large size option. I wasn't able to take a picture of my phone in the pocket but my LG Stylo3 fits with a little room to spare. I think it will fit my Stylo4 when I upgrade. That pocket is inside the front top zipper. The pocket next to it is smaller but would fit several lipsticks or in my case a large secondary power bank. I threw my wallet In that top front main pocket as well and Its swimming in extra room. The inside top main pocket contains. An extra cell wallet I carry in case I want to switch to just phone and a few cards. Needless to say it is also swimming in extra room. There is a zipper pocket on the back side of that pocket that I keep my medicines etc in. That pocket holds everything with room to spare. See picture to see what ""everything" means. I also normally have a packet of prepasted travel toothbrushes as well and plenty of room to include those. On the front outside of the purse these is a full length and height zippered pocket That is currently empty. It would fit my Kindle or MAYBE an IPAD. Inl dont have one to try. Also on the front are two zippered pockets. In one i have reading glasses and coin purse. In the other i have extra sunglasses and a compass (outdoor map nerd) Dont judge it comes in handy in the mountains and in Manhattan. 😀 . There is a large zip pocket on the back panel that surprised me. I bought the large size so my daily planner (9in x 10in) would fit in the main pocket but no need. It fits nicely in"the back panel pocket and keeps anything spiky i might put inside feom poking me while I walk. On each end is a bottle pocket. In have a very large set set of keys in one. If I were in NYC, however, I would love those to a zipper pocket. On the other end I placed a 16oz bottle of water. The water wont fall out but an umbrella likely would. There is room in the main compartment for a travel size umbrella. So lastly see pics of the purse on me. I'm a pretty large grandma type unlike the small Asian lady in the product photos. The purse looks more normal size on me its still a little large. If I wasnt carrying around that daily planner the smaller size would have been fine. The strap adjusts down to where I can carry it at the bottom of my elbow when over one shoulder and with strap extended part way can carry cross body with plenty of adj left over if needed. The bottom line on this is LOTS of room. Nothing is cramped and I still have empty pockets. If I will it up Indont be able to carry it. I will likely add a emergency poncho and a small bottle of hand sanitizer. Pretty much everything I normally carry is in pockets and the main compartments are empty. Lol. Quality seems great. I purchased two of these pocketbooks. One nylon and one leather. I love them both but favor the leather one for looks. They both have lots of zippered pockets for organization. They are really nice looking and a great buy! Read more

More compartments more zippers more weight. I Like, prefer my Patagonia lightweight courier, The Crossbody has elastic pockets on both ends and two zippered side pockets matching those on Patagonia Courier, PC. PC's end pockets are larger and will accommodate water bottles are also a breathable mesh handy for airing drying items. By comparison Crpssbody's pockets are end smaller are tight and fit a small 20 oz plastic Coke bottle, pocket's about the size of a large fist. PC's face, side pockets have a flap covering their zipper for a cleaner look, but this fabric frequently gets caught in the zipper. Crossbody's zipper are not as attractive but more handy and functional. The Patagonia has only one zippered main pocket compartment. The volcano has four length long zippered areas. The patagonia's to zippered side pockets have a covering flap over the zipper which frequently catches in the cloth. The volcano zippers or a larger were they visible Pull tab perhaps less attractive but more functional. Shoulder strap on PCs one light piece where as the Crossbody is a doubled over belt, again adding bulk and weight. while the Crossbody is still light the PC's minamalist. PCs been critized for being too small. But it's light weight construction should only accomodate so much load!? Patagonia courier, a classic my go to travel bagis of course twice the cost are currently not available from Patagonia, and getting hard to find in general. Crossbody and other similar substitute on Amazon may be why Patagonia's not making more for now!? We'll have to see how this bag holds up Read more

I love this bag. I bought one about 4 or 5 years ago, I think, and it just broke this year so I got a replacement bag just like the first but in a different color. Then bought another one, so that I have a regular bag and a walking/travel bag. It is a good size and I love the many compartments and pockets/pouches. Read more

This bag has lots of room. I bought the wine red bag. It is more between a dark red and burgundy. It seems to be sturdy and well sewn. The lining zippers all opened and closed easily. The lining is sturdy not thin. The fabric is shiny. I have only one complaint. It picks up grease and spots easily. My previous bag didn't pick up stains. I have been able to wash them off. Read more
