Not at all true to color. Not even a little bit. Zippers also noticeably different color. It is smaller like I wanted, and since purses have been huge for so long it looks deceptively tiny by comparison. Don't let the initial shock of getting what you asked for scare you. It will hold a lot. Very soft as people have mentioned. Time will tell how that holds up. So initial look I don't see any loose seams or anything. They pack it so squished that it looks like a wrinkled mess, but I expect regular use will fix that. The inside lining is very thin, so I'm concerned about it's long term wear, and there's also an excess of it. So be careful zipping because it gets stuck in the zipper. I'll see how it works despite being the wrong color and try to let you know after some actual use. ***Edit*** After using this purse a week, I am relatively pleased. Added a star. Pros: Despite the compact size, it does hold a fair amount of stuff. It's soft and feels nice to touch. Because it's smaller and less heavy I've experienced a decrease in neck/shoulder pain. One of the main motivations for finally seeking out a smaller purse again (online because they don't have nice ones in stores!) Cons: Color nowhere close. Even after cutting out things like gum/mints and other misc items I used to carry, I can't fit my cell phone in this thing. It's so smooth that the strap likes to keep sliding down my shoulder. Would buy another but try another color. I'm curious to see the bigger one and see if it's still smaller than what I was used to but a tad more roomy that this one. This one would still be great if you're switching out bare essentials (wallet, keys, phone, etc) like to go to a concert or theme park so less to carry/be searched upon entering. Edit #2: This purse has worked out well overall, so I ordered the bigger version to try. I wanted options for when I have a need to bring a few more odds and ends. I took it back though as it was not as attractive looking as the smaller one and had one of those useless, bottomless large center pockets. I hate digging through so much just to find one item, so I prefer two smaller ones. Stick with the smaller version. Oh and funnily enough, the color was off on this bigger one too. I forgot to get a pic before I returned it though. 18m UPDATE: I still love it, but the lining I was so careful to avoid catching in the zipper finally caught. Now one of my zippers is broken rendering the purse useless. Sigh. RIP. It was a good run. Added pictures to show how well it held up despite all the people saying it fell apart. I barely had two small issues in the corners after all that time. Added side by side with the new dark blue one. I really didn't like any of the colors, but I wanted something different. I'd been using the same black ,soft leather cross-body bag for the past 10 years. It was in horrible shape, but I wasn't finding anything comparable to my beloved bag. I thought I'd try this one from reading about it, and I have to say, I am THRILLED with it! It is a nice, soft leatherish material, has exactly the same compartments as my first one, and is just slightly larger than my original, which I love. I was pleased with the color as it is true to the color as described and shown. I also like the size and how many compartments there are to ensure all of my items will fit. It's really soft and looked really nice on my shoulder when I looked in the mirror. But, the thing I'm truly disappointed about was the fact that the seller displays this purse WITH A GREEN TASSLE KEYCHAIN ACCESSORY THAT IS SUPPOSED TO COME WITH THE PURSE! I READ ALL OF THE DESCRIPTION AND IT'S SUPPOSED TO COME WITH IT! WELL, THEY FORGOT MINE, OR I RECEIVED A PURSE THAT SOMEONE ELSE HAD AND RETURNED (PROBABLY KEPT THE TASSLE.) All of my other leather Volganik Rock purses came with a tassle which matched the color of the bag identically. So, now I have to waste money and buy a tassle that will match a light green purse! I shouldn't have to do that especially when this bag was supposed to come with one. I know it may sound silly/petty but I feel that the tassle really gives it a more stylish and classy look. Without it, the purse loses that originality! I'D LIKE ONE SENT TO ME, SINCE MINE DIDNT COME WITH ONE (if the seller even bothers to read these comments.) I'm no longer buying from this seller though, because it arrived missing that one little thing I loved most about the bag. So, I will not be a recurring customer because of this reason. This is a very supple and beautiful purse. It has double the number of pockets and amount of room that my former Crossbody purse had. The strap is adjustable so you can carry it as a handbag, a shoulder bag or a Crossbody bag. The zippers have nice deep pockets and the purse itself is just so classy. I love it! Read more
