Love the scent. It’s very effective in controlling my hair and is my only product I use now. Good value for the money it’s a big bottle and goes a long way. It’s not too thick, similar to normal water with a few extra additives. Read more

I've found this works best if I put it in my hair when it's dry. After spraying it on and allowing it to try for a bit, my hair immediately feels like I've spent a day at the beach. It feels a little thicker and coarser, which is great because it's thinning fast and I need all the help I can get. It does add some body and texture to my hair that doesn't look or even feel artificial. I did originally try it on wet hair and wasn't happy with how things looked when it dried. I get much better results putting it on dry hair. Read more

I ordered the VOLT Surf Sea Salt Spray. I really appreciate the eco-friendly aluminum bottle (yay earth) and the size makes this convenient for traveling with. The outback scent is light and nice - I can't pinpoint what it is but it smells fresh. I'm not looking for a super-grungey, super-hold type of salt spray. This hit that mark providing a little bit of texture without a ton of hold. That may be a negative for others, but works for me. Read more

This sea salt spray has become a staple in my routine. It gives my hair that natural, beachy texture and volume without feeling stiff or sticky, and it works just as well on my beard. I like that it also acts as a kind of dry shampoo—my hair looks refreshed and less oily in between washes. The formula feels gentle and non-drying, which is a big plus for a salt spray. I also appreciate the fragrance-free option and the non-aerosol, recyclable aluminum bottle, which feels sturdy and eco-friendly. Overall, a versatile, clean-feeling styling spray that’s great for everyday use and travel. Read more

Volt Surf Sea Salt Spray is environmentally responsible, and uses mostly natural ingredients. (It does contain magnesium sulfate, for those sensitive to sulfur.) I like that they use refillable recyclable aluminum containers also. The sprayer works well, the spray is fine, but not super fine. As a type of conditioner that is intended to add volume and texture to hair, I would say that it is competent, but not amazing. It is not a heavy hold, like a gel. My hair does look nice for a while after I use it. I tried it on my beard, and it works about as well as other beard products. I did feel a little sting on my face like one does with sea water sometimes when I sprayed it on my face. There is no information on the bottle about using it for specific hair types. The version I have has the "Outback" smell, which is a mild scent that is pleasant but not readily identifiable. There is an unscented version available also, which I have not tried. I would say the price is reasonable for what you receive. Read more

This spray gives my hair a quick lift without feeling stiff or gritty. I typically use it on dry hair, and it settles in fast with a light, clean scent that fades nicely. The texture boost is noticeable but not heavy, which is great for my low-maintenance routine. The travel size bottle is convenient to toss in a bag on the go. Read more

- Quality: The formula seems pretty decent. It adds a nice bit of texture to the hair, gives it a little bit of volume/thickness. The smell isn't overpowering, which is nice. - Sprayer: Decent little sprayer. It gets out quite a bit of product at once. - Packaging: Came in a single-ply cardboard box and most of the product leaked out... I'm assuming the sprayer somehow vibrated loose enough during shipping to leak the product out. Overall, it does seem like a decent product. I'd recommend testing it out. It's easy to apply, don't have to get your hands dirty... Not bad... As long as the product doesn't leak out. Read more
