As I’ve gotten older, my hair has definitely thinned and I hate how flat it lays. In the past I’ve been known to hold my head upside down and douse my hair with some hair spray to get some volume and achieve a bit of a messy look. However, I’ve really been trying to get away from aerosol spray cans. I’d already made the switch to powdered dry shampoos, but didn’t know there was a volumizing powder, and as such, was super excited to give this a try. This powder does give me a bit of volume and if I work it into my hair, I can even get more of that messy look I like. Of course it doesn’t hold like hairspray or something, but I also wasn’t expected it to. Absolutely love the ingredients in this product and the fact that it is natural. While this product doesn’t claim to be a dry shampoo, I do feel like, for me anyways, it worked as one too. I definitely love me some dry shampoo, as my hair gets greasy so fast, so that was an added bonus. The pump too is great. I’ve had issues with powdered dry shampoos before where the pump is pretty much useless and I have to unscrew the top to get powder out, so I was very happy about how easy it was to use. My only complaint really is the price point. $20 just doesn’t seem like good value unfortunately, especially when you can get similar products for half the price. Stinks. Smells like the lilac scented lingerie soap/detergent that my grandmother used. I don’t know if this is lilac fragrance or something else but it stinks. Don’t know how well it lasts, I had to immediately wash it out of my hair because of the overpowering smell. Read more

Product arrived well packaged and powder is easy to apply. It kept my son’s hair dry and prevented it from getting oily. The powder did not leave any sticky residue in the hair but I di not notice any better hold than the less expensive brands. It was easy to apply but did not add any volume to his hairstyle. This volumizing styling powder is a great way to get more volume and texture in your hair easily. This product doesn't have a heavy scent and also caused no irritation. This is very effective at the scaly for oily hair that can easily get weighed down and look flat. I tend to prefer dry shampoo and texturizing sprays in order to add volume and texture to my hair, but I was pleasantly surprised by this powder. One huge pro is since it is a powder, you are safe to throw this in a carry on and it won't take up any of your precious liquids space if you fly frequently like I do. Read more
