The Bunn-style office coffee maker if probably familiar to many, and this unit will do what those machines do for a lot less money. It is not as well made as a commercial example, but I think it will hold up ok as long as it is treated with some care. (Shared office coffee machines have to endure a lot of abuse, and this one probably wouldn't survive long in that environment, but if handled better it seems like it would last a good while.) Each carafe holds ≈2 quarts (or liters), and they don't fill as fast when brewing as you might expect. The timing is probably comparable to using a Mr. Coffee-style brewer; this unit won't offer you a speed advantage over those. The water boiler draws 1,500 Watts while brewing, and each burner pulls 75 Watts or so (according to my measurements). That's similar to a hair-dryer or a microwave, so you probably won't need to worry about your wiring. That said, 75-150 Watts is quite a bit in this LED era, so you might want to invest in a thermos or two for the brewed coffee. Read more

works very well. easy to use and fill and does a quick job at making a solid pot of coffee. is smaller than you would think but this works out to be a much better fit for at home use. Read more

Only quirk with this (which we figured out) was that we had to run a full 2 cycles with this before it started working well and making full pots. We’ve been using this in our business the last 3 weeks since getting it. Zero complaints from us or staff. Makes a good, full pot of coffee relatively quickly, and warmers work great. Easy to clean, and love the professional, industrial look. Love that we have 2 machines in one now, to save on counter space in our little concession kitchen. Read more

This is the style of coffee maker thats always been associated with professional high quality bulk percolating. This unit was ordered for the kitchen in my jewelry design studio. The unit is very well constructed and brews fast accurate and features really simple operation. The performance is excellent cup after cup and pot after pot.
