I'm seeing a lot of mixed reviews on this so I will tell you my thoughts. This is the largest mat for exercise I've ever had and it is so much better than a small yoga mat for stretching. Its the perfect thickness and doesn't slip which is what I was afraid of. I'm seeing a lot of people say they thought it would be thicker but the width is literally displayed in the photos!!!! It feels like the perfect thickness to protect me from my wood floors and it does take a day or so to lay flat, but it will. I think this is a good price for what you get, but I did knock a star off for some slight imperfections I found in a couple of spots. This feels pretty durable and I will have to keep it rolled up so my cat doesn't ruin it but it rolls up nicely and stays out of the way. Read more

I picked up this mat in teal and ended up using it more as a small gymnastics mat for my grandson in our basement than a yoga mat. The size is the big win here. It’s large enough for him to roll around, practice basic moves, and burn off energy without constantly landing on bare concrete or hardwood. It stays put really well and has a nice grippy surface, so it doesn’t slide around when he’s moving. The thickness is supportive without feeling squishy, and it does a solid job taking the edge off impacts and reducing noise. Durability has been solid so far, even with a kid treating it like a mini tumbling runway. Cleaning is easy. This mat is exactly what I was looking for. The extra-wide size makes a huge difference I can stretch, do yoga flows, calisthenics, and floor work without constantly repositioning or worrying about slipping off the mat. It actually feels freeing compared to standard mats. The grip is excellent on both sides. It stays planted on the floor, and I don’t slide around during planks, stretches, or dynamic movements. The 6mm thickness is a sweet spot too enough cushioning to protect knees and joints, but still firm and stable for balance work. It feels durable, easy to clean, and doesn’t have that overpowering chemical smell some mats come with. For home workouts, yoga, or mobility work, this mat feels premium and well thought out. Exercising and yoga are a daily routine—and no fun to do right on the carpet. That’s why, when I saw this VTORY large yoga mat, I had to try it. The yoga mat comes rolled up tightly in cellophane. Opening it up revealed just how big this thing is—easily twice the width of the traditional-style yoga mat I’ve been used to using. That was a welcome sight as it’s always irritating when your feet go off the size of the mat. Not with this one! In most respects, it feels just like any yoga mat you’d expect, except it’s BIGGER. The entire thing measures 6’x4’, so to me it feels like having two yoga mats set out side by side. I got the 6mm one…that’s a bit thin for me. If I had to do it again, I’d probably double to 12mm to really feel the cushion. The 6mm feels a bit like the kind of a mat you’d put under a piece of exercise equipment. I love the size of the mat, it's perfect for yoga and stretching. What I don't like is the thickness, I feel as it if it is too thin, especially to use on tile flooring. Another thing I didn't like is the fact that it came rolled up. My current mat stays on the floor in our workout area, this one does not yet lay flat. I don't think it's worth the price.
