I love this thing. I've been using it for a few weeks now and my skin's texture has improved and my wrinkles are softer. Something I didn't expect is that I've had a couple of deep cysts for literally years I couldn't get rid of. They worked their way out and are gone. It's definitely doing something at a deep level. I'm supplementing with collagen. It's so easy to use. I'm usually watching TV at night so I throw it on and run it. The 6 minutes go by fast. EDIT - after receiving two masks that I thought didn’t work, the company reached out with some guidance and offering a replacement. Turns out, I think it was user error. I was not pushing the connection in hard enough so it was too loose. Happy to say the replacement masks works well and is very easy to use. They have preset cycles depending on your goal (anti-aging, brightening, etc). The lights rotate in intensity depending on the setting. Too early to speak to how well it works but I’m definitely pleased with the customer service. First one didn’t work, they sent a replacement, second one didn’t work. There are a ton of red-light therapy devices and masks available right now and it can be hard to sort through them. I've tried a few masks like this, but this is one of the most comfortable masks I've found. It's fairly easy to use, although you will definitely want to spend some time with the thorough instructions that are included. Since we are all shaped different it can be hard to find one that fits your face, but this one has some flexibility to it. It's also lightweight and I found it fairly comfortable. I would recommend using the "eye inserts" for the mask. They help to block out some of the light from your eyes, but I also keep mine closed because the light can create eye strain. There is a control that's easy to use. There are 3 different settings, and I spent some time researching online before I tried to use the mask, so I could customize the best plan for my needs. As a first-time LED mask user, I'm pleasantly surprised by this device! The luxurious packaging makes it gift-worthy, and it arrived ready to use. The velcro straps ensure a snug (though adjustable) fit - just don't tighten too much like I initially did. I love the 15-minute anti-aging mode; the warm glow is so relaxing I nearly fell asleep during my first session. While bright for open eyes (especially with light sensitivity), it's perfect for evening relaxation. The mask feels premium and well-made, though I can't compare to others yet. Update! I have been using this mask consistently on the default program for 28 days and was starting to see results. Unfortunately as of today the mask seems to not be functioning properly. It will stay on for two minutes and then auto off telling me that the battery source is too low. I charged my batter and tried again with the same result. Then I plugged into a wall unit, so no battery just continuous power from an outlet, and received the same result. IT is a real shame because I was enjoying using this device, and like I said above, was all set to give a positive update in two days because I am seeing results. But, I cannot recommend a product that isnt even functional for 30 days. I ordered the Infrared Light Therapy Mask for Face By V VYM By Clinmate. The product came in a giftable, easy to wrap box. You will need to supply a battery pack or be tethered to an outlet, this is not truly rechargeable. This is my first light therapy mask. Use is easy and intuitive. The light blockers worked well and I had no treatment light leaking into my field of vision so I felt very safe until the red light kicked in. At that point I quickly closed my eyes (this was around 5 minues of this preset). Because this is my first mask and because I had not researched ways to use these on my own, I started with the brightening preset. That preset runs for 15 minutes. It is comfortable enough to me but the way the mask fits does put pressure on the bridge of my nose. I doubt I would want to wear this for much longer. I do not know if this is a fixable problem though because you do want the eye protection to fit well and with the eyes and bridge of the nose being so close together I dont think you can accommodate both optimally. The mask gets pleasingly warm. After I removed the mask, my cheeks were red and there were slight impressions around my eyes. I enjoyed using the mask and look forward to adding this to my facial care regimen. If there are any noteworthy changes, I will report back. Read more
