I bought one of these and followed up with two more. I have issues with my heel hurting followed by discomfort in my ankle. I used these to replace worn out insoles that the shoes came with. They feel really good. As long as mu shoes are on nice and snug I do not have issues all day. They were a great replacement for all the shoes I wear regularly. Try them if you have issues or just want real comfort. The fact that they are not on the expensive side is awesome!! Read more

Fifteen years ago, my podiatrist diagnosed me with plantar fasciitis due to collapsed (pronating) arches. He told me to use arch supports in all my shoes. At that time, there were only a few main brands from which to choose. He prescribed Superfeet blue or copper (for lower arched feet), which I have used since. A lot has changed in fifteen years, and now there are more brands making arch supports. Walk Hero is a bit newer, and I have used their standard model in my boots for a few years. I recently discovered this medium-arch model when searching around to figure out what other types of supports are made for my type of feet. Over the years, some of the supports I’ve tried have been too high-arched for my feet, which causes pain. I really like these medium arch supports from Walk Hero. True to the description, the arches on these are pretty gentle. They provide semi-rigid support thanks to the plastic shell, yet the lump under the arch isn’t very aggressive. There is a gel pad in the heel which adds some bounce to my shoes, and the top layer is soft and moisture-wicking. I put these inserts into my workout shoes (pictured) which I only use for exercise and not all-day casual wear. I like a softer underfoot feel during my jogs. They fit well in my shoes without adding too much bulk (aka squeezing my feet) and made my feet feel secure and supported. I’d say that these inserts are just right for jogging or walking. In summary, if you have lower-arched feet and would like some gentle support as well as cushion added to your athletic shoes, this Walk Hero arch insole is a good value product. Update: Still using these years later and still really appreciate the support, cushioning and overall value. A great product, and I hope they’re going to be around for a long time! Read more

I recently purchased these to wear with my Altra hiking boots. I hadn't worn my Altra's in a while because they started to feel uncomfortable the more I wore them hiking. I recently went to get a foot and gait evaluation and found that I have high arches which I don't think I did so the Altra hiking boots don't support my arch since they're zero drop shoes. I didn't want to go buy new boots in a hurry before my hiking trip, so I decided to buy insoles. I bought these and the high arch ones and I found these to be more comfortable because of the heel cushion that the other ones don't have. Also I don't like the rigidness of the high arch ones. I feel like the height on these was just right. Really good quality and they work well. Read more

My daily wear sneakers I use for pickleball has lousy insoles. I mean, near zero arch support. I shouldn't complain since I go through so many sneakers I wind up buying cheap stuff. Worried that such sneakers would cause me foot problems I decided to try Walk Hero insoles instead of spending big $$$ on expensive sneakers. And the result: Big difference! First, these arch supports fit perfectly in the sneaker. The Walk Hero is for 9 - 9.5 size men's shoes but I was worried my 9.5 wide sneaker would be too loose. Nope, it's like a custom fit. Secondly, the arch support feels great. I don't think one appreciates how poor a flat insole feels until you replace it would an insole with proper arch support. My feet certainly appreciate the difference! I should add that I also tried the Walk Hero High Arch Support product. Not uncomfortable exactly but the high arch felt a bit unnatural. I will use it in another sneaker I wear to the gym (where the sneakers will receive less abuse). Bottom line: wow, what a difference. Do yourself and your feet a favor, get this insole. Read more
