Walking Pad Mat for Carpet Floor 68x24 Treamill Mat for Hardwood Floors High Density 1 4 Thickness Folable

I hunted for about 3 months to find the ideal walking pad for my son. His room isn't huge so I needed something compact, and it had to be easy to move around and very durable. This one hit all the right points on paper, so I ordered it. It was on sale when I grabbed it, I think there was $50 off the MSRP, something in that ballpark. Going from an enormous treadmill to this has been glorious. What I like: Size: It's very compact yet still very sturdy. If you are extremely tall or you take very long strides, the length might be an issue for you, but you would need to be taking exaggerated strides for sure. My son is 5'11" and is having no problems with the length or the width of the walking/jogging area. Functionality: Ideal for the purpose. The remote control works perfectly (so far) and the digital display on the pad is bright and easy to read. I did buy a pad for underneath the machine because it's being used on carpet and the pad will help the motor not overheat. It also comes with an accompanying app but he hasn't used that yet so I can't comment on how good (or not) it is. Noise: Quiet, basically. I don't know how loud other models are, but this one is very smooth and when I close my son's door, I can't hear it at all. Moving/storage: It has wheels and it's been easy to move around and/or stand against a wall if we need to. Value for money: In my opinion, excellent. I read reviews for models that were selling for considerably more than this one, and based on those, this one is by far the best choice in the price range I was looking at ($100-$200). Drawbacks: None so far. It's working exactly as promised. I have read that walking pads in general can act up after a few months of consistent use. If that happens, I'll update my review. Nice thick mat that has some rigidity. Folds easily when not in use and easily slips under the bed for storage. No funny smells. Works well. Read more

Comes with a remote. Make sure if you are using this on carpet that you invest in the underpad. This will take you for a brisk walk,but nothing faster than 3.5. If you're looking for something to run on, this is not for you. It will keep track of how long you walk, your distance, steps and how fast. It seems to reset the timer after 60+ minutes,but I wasn't paying attention to when it reset. It's a quiet machine,but not silent. I really like the option for vibration. This part is loud. Regardless of sound, it's a really cool feature. This walking pad does have good grip. You won't slip off. As for the length, I am 5'6" and if I took a really long step, I might fall off. I never have,but wondered if it would be a problem. It's compact,but during my walks,I've never felt the machine was too short. I love that it fits under my desk. It does not incline. Read more

It folds! Nice thickness and size. Easy to wipe clean and easy to fold up for storing out of the way between uses. Appears that it will hold up well to repeated use/fold ups. Time will tell. Will update if need be. Read more

Perfect for protecting my carpet and wood floors. I use mine under my stationary bike and walking pad. When I did not use it oil got on my cream carpet. Read more

Use it under tredmil walking pad and it's great. Doesn't leave any black behind or fall apart. Is good protection for my rug. Good thickness , not too thick or too thin. Can be folded down to be shorter when used. Doesn't smell. Packs up small. Great buy so far. Read more
