I am an adult with plantar fasciitis. I ordered these inserts to alleviate the pain this causes. The inserts were very stiff. I wore them for a couple of hours and removed them. I tried them again the next day and gave up on them after wearing them for an hour. The stiffness was too uncomfortable for me. I suspect they may be just the ticket for some people whose feet are different than mine. Not every foot has the same problems or will respond to the same product. These appear to be well made and are easily cut to fit as needed. Read more

These inserts arrived promptly and were packaged well. The colorful colors are particularly attractive and cute. This order was for a pair of big kids' size 4M-5M. After removing the very worn and flattened insoles of my daughter's size 4.5 Nike athletic shoes, I inserted these new insoles right into the shoes. They really did not need to be trimmed. I was able to press them into place. I did loosen the laces quite a bit from inserting the insoles. Shoes will be a bit tighter because of the arch and heel support of these insoles. I am glad I loosened the laces before my daughter put her shoes back on, or they would have been laced too tight. The instructions say to start out wearing them a couple hours a day if you have never worn custom insoles before. I did insert them into my shoes, as well, just to see how they felt. I found that the arch support of these insoles was definitely better than the shoes' primary insoles. I walked around a bit with them in my shoes and felt they were quite comfortable. But I have worn inserts in my shoes for many years, so I was already used to having something like this in my shoe. My daughter did not like them at first, but I encouraged her to keep them in her shoes and just wear that pair aa couple hours a day after her school program and see if they become more comfortable for her as they are broken in. These inserts seem to be on par with similar ones that you might find in a drug store or shopping mall shoe store. and they are not too expensive. I want her to try them out in her hiking boots once she gets used to them to see if they help her feel more comfortable walking more than a few blocks. Read more

I wear women's size 6.5 which overlaps with kids' sizes. I bought these mistakenly thinking they were more of a general purpose insole. I wanted to add cushioning and structure to a hiking shoe. However this is not what they are for ... these are orthotics for flat feet and overpronation. I actually have high arches and underpronate, so while these fit well in my shoes, they were not right for me ... they made my already-arched foot too "tall" (causing it to rub on the top of the shoe) and worsened my tendency to underpronate. I gave them to a family member who has flat feet and they did work well for her. She wears women's 8.5, and even though these are kids sizes and did not reach the toe of her shoes, the arch support area was still in the correct location for her. She says the arch support is very robust. Read more
