This works well. The only thing I do not like is you have to program in the 1 min for a cup of coffee, pushing the 1 won't work. This machine is built like the proverbial brick --it house, very, solid, and very well. I noticed this cooks very evenly, not like some of my past ones. Simply said, this is a much better value to me than many of the more expensive ones sold on the market; definitely better than the ones in Walmart. I would recommend it. Read more

I love the fact that its a good size, the numbers are very easy to press, although the ding ding is way too loud. I had to forgo a Toshiba that you could turn off the sound because the operation needed a scientist to figure out how to operate, which most of them do these days. I just wanted a SIMPLE, NICE,medium microwave and I got it. The sound is loud, but I usually stop mine at about 2 seconds and remove my coffee or foods, and then hit reset. That way just 2 bells instead of 4 . The door is a mite noisy and you have to push a little, but I am 89 years old and I can do it, so take my word, its perfect for us who were not raised in 'SMART" times, where everything is too complex to use:-) Read more

It a nice microwave for the price. I didn't want to buy the cheapest one out there as I wanted the standard watts and decent size. I'm actually more impressed with it than I thought I'd be. Only thing I'd like added is a dedicated 30sec instant start button. There are some programming options but I've never seen anyone actually use custom programming on a microwave. Read more

UPDATE: Microwave broke after a week and a half of use. It is inoperable. As other reviewers have complained of, the door latch broke the door will not stay closed...looks like this is a common issue. Completely unacceptable for an item like this to only last a week. Very disappointed. Dont buy this microwave the same thing will break quickly if you get one. I never heard of the Walsh brand before so i was skeptical about buying this. When i was looking over the box, I saw that the microwave is manufactured by Galanz, so im much happier and more confident that this is a good microwave that will last. It appears to be well built, and doesnt have any of those complicated gimmicks that alot of the modern microwaves have. Its a simple solid black, with simple easy to use buttons. There are some presets, but i dont care because ill never use them. We will see how it holds up over time...I will update this review as time passes. Read more
