Customers find the knife sharpener effective, particularly for serrated blades, and appreciate its three different sharpening surfaces and compact size.
I love the size and how it is shaped like a pen. It makes holding it a lot easier as well as ease of use. The quality is good and durable, and it works very well like you would expect. The grit on it I would say is more of a fine grit but don't let that fool you on how well this gets the job done. The sharpness is as expected and performs the way it should. Wamery needs to talk to their production crew and explain that putting a SKU sticker over the examples of use photos is less than helpful. I was able to carefully peal the sticker, includes the same information that’s on the packaging, off and found one of the photos seemed to misrepresent using the tool to sharpen fish hooks. There's a groove in the blunt end for that. The unit has three different sharpening surfaces. And unless you watch the video in the Amazon description, you might think the sharpener fits completely inside the holder when stored. It doesn’t. So be sure to store it with the point end in because the blunt end sticks out about 3/8ths of an inch. And that video does not show the recommended way to use each surface. I’ve giving it 4 stars because it does provide a diamond sharpening surface. It does provide a tapered surface for serrated blades. And you can put it in the handle/case so the point doesn’t poke a hole in anything while being carried. But I’d give their marketing department a 2+ or 3 for covering up the photo instructions, not showing how the unit sticks out a bit from the case when put away for storage, and not including a quick shot of each surface being used in thier video.
