Bought these for my Victorian home that is decorated for the era. Previous owners did a fantastic job with the interior but some of the lightbulbs were failing and needed replacing. These bulbs are perfect! The coils are nostalgic and the warm glow is so much better than regular harsh lightbulbs. Very pleased and will purchase again. Read more
I love these light bulbs. The color of the light reminds me of my childhood, sitting in my grandma's living room reading comic books, while my parents and grandparents talked and played cards. They aren't energy efficient, but that's not important to me. They also get hot like all incandescent light bulbs, so be careful not to handle them after they've been turned on. The light is yellow-orange, with much less of the blue that irritates the eyes. The light from LED light bulbs are just hard and harsh, with blue light that disrupts melatonin production. Read more
These are very beautiful when lit. Does give that antique feeling in the room with its creamy yellow glow. Very calming. Read more
Used these for a soft light in our playroom for the kids. Puts off a wonderful warm light that’s not too bright. Only down side is they get pretty warm, which heats up the room a tad. But that’s normal for incandescents. Read more
Update to review: I was contacted by their customer service and offered a full refund. Greatly appreciate the company response to this issue. I really like the light produced by these bulbs, but they don’t last long. I have had them for only a few weeks and two of them have already burned out. Would not recommend. Read more
60 watts not too bright. Not too dim. That classic home feel. Might be slightly dim for some people who are used to brighter light. These give off a more natural light feel. Read more
