I purchased two of these runners to add warmth to our upstairs hallway this winter. The runners arrived folded, and do lay flat. There is a non-slip backing and they can be used without a rug pad underneath. The color was as expected, and overall the runners look great. The runners are soft and comfortable to walk on in bare feet. Overall I think they were a good purchase and very reasonably priced. I like that they can be ordered in various lengths and widths. These rugs will function beautifully in my long hallway. They arrived folded instead of rolled which helped a lot to lay flat out of the box. They are soft and thin enough that the chances of tripping is minimal. They stay in place nicely and the colors are fairly vibrant to give the feeling of warmth that I was looking for. I feel the price was a good value for what you get. I'm very happy with this choice. I can't speak about washing them yet but I think the quality is good and shouldn't be a problem. I bought this for the hallway in our motorhome. I like its water resistant and softness. It looks good and stays in place nicely. The only slight thing is I can still see the crease from when it was folded up when being shipped. I suppose I could get out the steamer and see if that would remove the crease. I got two for helping my old dog have traction. She tended to pee indiscriminately and it cleaned up nicely, just dabbing rather than rubbing or vacuuming (I followed instructions for once and they worked.) It is supposedly washable and I'm sure it is, but I wouldn't want something that large in my machine so will wait to use a commercial washer. It is really attractive. My only complaint is that my cat likes to take a running leap onto on and use it as a sled. Ha. I guess they didn't figure on that when they made the rugs. Read more
