I bought this pliers tool to remove and install the stainless steel bracelet from my Hamilton watch. The first time I used the tool, I took about fifteen minutes to select the correct tips from the four different-sized pairs that came with the tool and then to adjust the distance between the tips to match the collars on the spring bars. Once that was done, the tool worked fine. I was pleasantly surprised (and a little relieved) because several of the reviews mentioned issues with tips breaking and the small size of the tool. I have used this tool several time now to put the bracelet on the watch and to take it off again when I wanted to wear the watch with a different band. Beautiful quality at a good price. Smooth operation, good selection of extra tips. Better than expected- a pleasant surprise. It seems these vary in price up to $150, this was at the lower end but is a very nice tool. Looks like it will last! Even came with a decent fitted case.
