We have been using this product for a month now. It does leak water while running even when water level is below maximum level, like maybe a very heavy humidifier, so I recommend to put a towel or some kind of catcher under it whilst runs. It helps keep air moist and fresh with added essential oils. I've used other machines similar, and this one is a little sister compared to the rainmate I had from rainbow. The color changes in patterns no set color and u can control the speed of the spinner but seems to run a cycle of high low on its own. I got this for my grooming space for dogs. I love that the water is super dirty when I clean it out because you know it has pulled it out of the air you are breathing. It is super easy to take apart and clean. I put some lavender oil in the water to help calm the dogs down and it keeps it smelling fresh.
