Great starter set!
Purchased this set for watercolor painting. The sizes and variety of shapes are ideal. They hold their shape well, do not shed at all. The larger sizes will hold a lot of water if you need them to. I only wish the included dagger and cats tongue were a bit smaller, as I tend to work on smaller size paper, but overall a great set especially for the price. A good starter set. They are holding up well to daily use and have become some of my favorite workhorse brushes. Read more

These are great brushes. There is some shedding at first but once the loose hairs are taken care of I think they perform better than many of my more expensive watercolor brushes. A lot of times when I buy a set it comes with a bunch of shapes and sizes I would never use, but the variety here is good for what I do. Read more
