Filters work fine at iron and manganese removal.
These filters work great. I use them in tandem...in one filter and out to another duplicate filter which completely filters out all iron and manganese. I also use a pre-filter before these filters for sediment and iron. They are a little pricey, but they do the job. Read more

We have so much iron in the water that all whites and lighter color clothing was turning orange. Once we put the whole house water filter system in all that stopped. The order in water is gone and it taste sweet. I highly recommend the whole house water filtering system and filters. Easy to install and easy to change ours is about every 3 months but worth it. I didn’t have the money to do a fancy water filtration system at my current house because I’m renting. Opted to try this first to see if it would help with the horrible chlorine levels and the iron. I’ve had it for about 9 months now. I was starting to notice iron build up in my shower for the last month and then realized my filters came October 14th and I forgot to replace them.
