We bought the Waterdrop reverse osmosis system for our kitchen. Aside from the fact that filters are fairly costly, we think the product it produces (drinking water) is worth the expense. Actually, every single time I go to the grocery store, I chuckle to myself watching people loading their carts with packs and packs of bottled water and then loading the packs from the cart to the trunk. We avoid this activity completely to say nothing of the hundreds, if not thousands, of water bottles we avoid recycling on a yearly basis. The next issue is taste. The taste of our drinking water far exceeds most of the bottled water I have tasted. Adding to the factors I have alredy mentioned, we are on well water. Having a well is not the most ideal situation. We filter and soften our water before it even comes into the house. It doesn't taste bad on it's own but I much prefer the R-O water. Additionally, the reverse osmosis undersink system also filters the water that makes the ice. Our under counter Hoshizaki ice maker produces wonderful, delicious, filtered water ice cubes 24/7. There's a lot of technology afoot for a drink of ice water in my house but, given the circumstances of having a well, the water is top quality. It has 0% impurities according to the water test we do regularly. If I did have public water, I would still have the Waterdrop R-O system. The filters are so easy to change. The unit beeps and a red light comes on to tell you which filter needs changing. It is also "On-demand" so you never have an empty storage tank because there is no storage tank! The Waterdrop Reverse Osmosis system is a 100% improvement over the original R-O system we had which was clumsy, took up a lot more space under the sink and was anything but user friendly! Read more

Works great! The water tastes super clean and fresh. No leaks at all, and it was easy to install. Feels like good quality and totally worth the price. I also like the simple, clean design. Would buy again! Read more

So far so good since we bought the system from 2019. The TDS reading does not match the tool. However, water after additional alkaline filter unit is tasted much better than outside collection. It also raises the water expense significantly. Read more

Had to buy a 2 pack cause the 1 pack was out of stock. Happy that there was this option. These CF filters are pretty spot on at 6 months to replace. The replacement is easy, take off the plastic cap, remove the old filter and put this one in, and then just hold down the CF icon and it will flush. Super easy. Read more

Update: After running lots of water through it, it now shows 7.5 minimum PH, as advertised. Tested a few times, consistently 7.5. I had run the instructed amount of water through the filter before my initial test to 6.8. It took probably three times that much water before it produced 7.5 PH. Satisfied but wish it would test higher. Initial review: The ad says it will raise PH to between 7.5 and 9.5. Before install my water tested 6.4. After install, it was 6.8. Retested, recalibrated…. still 6.8 max. Tested bottled alkaline water and my tester showed 9.0, exactly as advertised on the bottle, so there’s not a problem with my meter. Read more

This unit works great, water is tasty, water flow is very good. There is a slight hum when the unit works but it is not annoying at all . We bought the unit because the under sink area in our new home was too small to accommodate a standard passive flow filter with a storage tank. The installation went great until we plugged it into the outlet under the sink ( sharing the outlet with the disposal)..That is when we found out that that kind of outlet only works when you flip the wall switch ( duh!!). So had to pay an electrician to put in a switch. And now a drywall and painter to fix the wall Read more
